I didn't get the vintage box version, I just got the regular box one, but man what a beast! This thing is probably one of the best things Hasbro has ever put out. I was a little disappointed that the ladder was missing from mine, and the speeder bike was a little disappointing with the soft bendy plastic, but those are only minor complaints, and I have contacted Hasbro to get a replacement ladder. I did manage to score an AT AT commander in the vintage style packaging, and my local Zellers has the Snowspeeder in the vintage packaging, so I will probably try to score one of those. Now my only problem is trying to find a few Snowtroopers to fit it out. :)

I have only been able to find 1 snow trooper - but I did pick up the Zellers snow speeder and Defence of Hoth playset (not worth the $45 - but still fun).
I am hoping the attack on Hoth At-St goes on sale at Zellers as it comes with 2 Snow Troopers, I just don't want to spend another $45-$50.
This with the Falcon are the best playsets Hasbro has ever done for Star Wars.

Actually I think both hoth playsets were pretty good value at $45. three figures and a couple big guns or the AT-ST? I'd say it was priced about as expected. They did go on sale back in oct or nov. for 25 or 30 % off, so that was a great deal. I haven't seen them in stores since. I'd say grab em if you see em and hope they go on sale after that and get the receipt adjusted. Hasbro has put out some awsome stuff in the last little while, and most of it has come out here and for reasonable-great prices when factoring in sales. Been a good time to be a SW fan.

My girlfriend actually got me the AT-AT for Christmas, and yes, that bad boy is beyond impressive.  She bought it and put it together for me when I was at work.  I came home, opened the door, walked in, and my jaw dropped.  That thing's as tall as the arm on my recliner!  I'm gonna have to do an off-topic review of it...

Must be a local sale only, nothing in the flyer.

Did it have the sign that said $50 or it just scanned for $50 when you bought it?  I will check mine tomorrow.
