This time it's confirmed: I'll be doing the December 6th Comic Con. I already paid for my table, so there's no backing out of it this time. Sick or not, my germs will be there to greet you  ::). Just kiddin'.

So December 6th, see you at the Party Richter.... 8)

I'm goin' for sure.  Unless something terrible happens before like I get struck by a white minivan again.

Too bad they changed the costuming rules.  Now there's something about a 'masquerade' involving skits...  My buddy and I were going to reuse our Halloween costumes and be in character, but now, forget it.

Good plan.  Latin, you want to do the honours? ;D

My buddy and I were going to use our Halloween costumes of Gambit and Deadpool: http://ages25andup.blogspot.com/2009/10 ... oween.html

SnakeEyes: Cesspool really looks like a "post-Splitup-from-MaryJane" Spidey, he eyes look very sad indeed (. And Gambit looks kind of scary without his glasses  ;D . Otherwise, cool costumes!

I'm not sure if you're subtly making fun of us, but I'll take it as a complement!

But I did forgot to iinsist that the colors of both your customes and the props are vibrant and really do stand up a lot. Great work. I don't think I could emulate the same effects with the limitations I already have for the required creativity .

Hey, don't worry, I wasn't upset!  ;D
And what are you talking about?  Your Tunnel Rat costume was fantastic!  The only way it could have been petter would be if you had a repainted Nerf Longshot with you!

Yeah but my Tunnel Rat costume didn't require any real handy work. All I had to do was step into a military surplus store and spend over 100$ in gear to bring to life a Tunnel Rat. I'm just beeing modest here, I know that your costume required a lot of work, while mine really didn't. The only thing I crafted myself as part of my costume, and it was really minimal, were the makeup and the bandana, which was a plain army green shirt that I tied with a rubber band ( I saw this on Platoon, which is one of my favorite NAM movies ).

Thanks, man.

Ah, good ol' Platoon!  The bandana was great and the gear you had was fantastic.  I was going to buy some gear from that surplus store, like a tacvest or some webgear or something, but it ended up being way too expensive for me...
