I feel like I've been kicked in the "yo joes".  :o

It baffles me why Paramount and MGM would do this.  If it is because The Avengers is making a bunch of money and they hope to do the same with G.I. Joe, I'd rather see the movie released now and bomb, and finally put G.I. Joe out of it's misery.

It has been a mishandled property for years, which is a damn dirty shame because G.I. Joe is one of the most important things in my life.  I just want G.I. Joe to be treated with the proper respect it deserves.  It is the best toy is the history of toys and I would love for it to hit the main stream like it did in the 80's.

I feel sorry for the retailer's who've invested thousands of dollars into the toy line.  I hope this publicty gets fans rushing out to buy the toys and they disappear off the shelves (after I get mine of course).

It's not too late for Paramount to change their minds and have the movie released June 29th, with a 3D extended version to come out in March (wishful thinking I guess).

I bought a guy's entire Joe collection because he didn't want his kids to have Joe's because it promotes war.

The guy's father (the Grandpa for this story) was heartbroken because he spent countless hours, assembling the vehicles and painstakingly applying the decals.  The Grandpa was very upset and was proud when I told him I am a collector, and not a reseller.

Afterwards I found out the son was pissed off because I paid $300 for the collection, when he thought it was worth at least $700.

Funny... the guy doesn't want his kids playing with toys that "promote" war, but he was also upset that he didn't make extra money off those "war" toys.  ;)

I can see where the parents are coming from.  If they don't want their kids to play Joe, then it's their choice.  Unfortunately for me right now my kids aren't interested in G.I. Joe (which they were) and now I have to pack up all their stuff before they trash it.

I love Danger Girl.

Assassin X and Agent Zero are basically Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes.

Danger Girl is a great read.  Pick up the complete collection trade paperback, you won't be disappointed.

TRacker torso, Heavy Duty arms. Legs I'm not sure, wouldn't be that tough to figure out. The head my only guess is Street Fighter Movie Guile, but if that's the case the paint job is amazing.

Cool custom.

Are you sure that's not Bulletproof's head?
I agree, it looks like Bulletproof.

Off Topic / Re: Purchased a house in Brantford

I hoped you were able to get a place that is a closer drive to me... But I am glad you got something.

Plus with you being in Brantford, my friend just moved there and if I need to pick up Joes, I can visit both of you and make a road trip out of it.

I grabbed one at Winners this weekend too. Can't beat a $30 Sky Striker... except for the one my friend found at Square One for me for $20  ;)

Reviews Section / Re: Supplement to Review - The Story of my Flagg

Awesome story.  We should have a section in here where we can pick a vehicle, and everybody tell the story about how they obtained theirs.

I have a better idea... why not do that, but send them all to email@joecanuck.com and we'll include them in the next JoeCanuck Newsletter? ;)
Which vehicle should we do first?
