Any Ideas to what happened to Cobra-La?
« on: June 22, 2009, 08:48:01 PM »

Does anyone think they know where Cobra-La disappeared at the end of Sunbow's Gijoe the movie?

Did they hibernate? Do they have an underground City similar to Underground Montreal?

I want to know what others think...seriously.

Two words: Tactical nuke.

The Joes strapped it to the Fatal Fluffies and marched them in there.

They're not called Fatal for nothing. And if it they were indeed dispatched off-camera by the Joes, Zartan could never see this coming. Meaning Zartan too would've been killed. Because he would've ran happily to the Fluffies like a father to his sibblings...No? Nah, we know that he lives that only to die later .

Hey since Nemesis Enforcer / Immortal is rumored to have been created from many dead...things, do you think there's a chance Pythona's corpse could've survived the B.E.T. explosion because it fell out of the blast radius, and therefore retrieved and reanimated? Could it be that anyone who dies once and gets revived gets the IMMORTAL attribute added to their name? Pythona Immortal sounds convincing enough. The only other thing now is I wonder if Crimson Guard Immortals are in fact Cobra-La people hiding under their helmets... :shifty:

They were going to appear in the live movie to fight accelerator suited Joes.  But sadly Bergus Meridith had passed on many moons ago.

But thanks to CGI advancement nowadays, Burgess can now rise from the ashes again....And be way faster than he could ever be :shifty: ? ) Heavy Duty: "...Homosapiens. But one day something that we never expected happened: they evolved :shifty:. (...) their accelerator suits, as "they" call them, is a very travesty to our once noble ways!(...)".

If Burgess arose from the ashes, I would hope they'd have him play the Penguin in the 3rd Bat-flick instead of Glob-o-puss.

I don't know Mike, what if the reborn Burgess insists that the BAT production have the Penguin say a cheesy line like this: "To all Citizens of Penguin-La, get your bellies off my ice you little wankers and protect your beloved Penguin-La from the Batman intruder! Pen-guin-LALALALALA!"

That could sign the immediate end of the BATMAN franchise with no possibility of rising from any ashes...
