Even though Joe product is declining I was hoping our new owners would put in some changes to boost the site traffic.
Same old, same old?

I was just thinking about some of you guys, thought I'd search Joecanuck and see what happened. Surprise!

What changes do you guys want to see?
From what I have observed, participation on many Joe related message boards is declining. The lack of retail product in 2014 was serious blow in keeping people interested in the brand.

Thanks Pete. The one thing that would make this site better in my opinion, is the ability to modify a post, may it be an hour later or a year later.
The other thing, of a less immediate matter, would be to maybe have a nice joe canuck banner eventually.

I hear what Pete is saying. The only way we're going to get a lot more buzz here is if we see more stuff from Hasbro.

I'm with grunt on the idea of boosting traffic. I know Joe collecting is on the decline but just to see more users replying or even starting threads would be an improvement. Seems as though it's always the same few people posting.

Yojoe and HISSTank are pretty dead for vintage posts as well the last little while.

With no Joe product or a convention there isn't much to discuss, maybe opening up the site to more than just GI Joe would be the way to go. I have moved into collecting other things though I still look for GI Joe stuff, what are you guys collecting now?

well to be honest...sometimes I think there is to many sites to visit. When I got back into joe all those years ago I was only on the the pit mailing list on yahoo groups and I think most people were on that. I don't really visit any other sites beside this one and General Joes. Seems redundant to have the same conversation on several different sites. Just my thoughts.

I would have to say I used to collect Kenner Aliens and Predators lines for quite some time. I'm only one figure short: the Night Cougar Alien mint on card. I also pick up Transformers when I find some cool ones for my daughters at shows. I rarely buy from stores nowadays as the new toys all look alike (that is what happens when Disney takes control of most of all the toy racks/ not much originality or too much of it everywhere it's so hard to choose from)

I can't figure out a way to have members edit their posts.
Jon, we need to get a banner on here as I tired of looking at that "simple machines forum" crap on the top.

The Emoticons don't work anymore on my end. Does anyone have an issue with them too? I know they're not a must, but if that can be put back to work, it would be great. Also it would be cool if we could have our own personalized emoticons like a joecanuck skimask, a maple leaf, a timbit, etc. Again this is probably asking for non essential stuff, which could only mean "potential ideas for the future".
