that is awesome!  Looks like the Sky Striker beside it... and some "Desert assault squad"...

I may have to take a drive to Target

Ya I'm pretty disappointed by that too.  It means I'm now going to have beg someone south of the border to get one for me and then pay a good $20 to have it shipped to me.
I'd guess the chances of Zellers picking up an exclusives that large are pretty slim, though I hope they prove me wrong.

I love it and the x-30.  There is no reason why Zellers in Canada couldn't get these.
This is a perfect example of an item that if it doesn't come to Canada retail, I will order online and pad my order with several other figures to make the shipping less painfull.
But shipping on both of those jets is going to be easily $20-30 plus taxes/duty at the boarder.

This would be a good thing to ask Hasbro Canada...

How much is duty and taxes, generally?  I never had to pay it and don't want to be too surprised when I do order internationally...

When I have ordered larger vehicles from the states I have seen everyting from not having to pay anything (best scenario)
to having to pay full PST & GST plus $10-15 in processing fees etc.
So a $30 item, that I paid $20 to ship has arrived costing an extra $20 just to get it from the post office.

I would love to see any of the new vehicles show up north here. I know some are coming in the fall, but I agree that this and any future Target exclusives would work good for Zellers.

When is this one in stores, by the way?  American stores, that is...

I want one. I can pitch my 2 incomplete trying to piece them together rattlers to make room for it, but I want one. I've been trying to get a whole rattler together for years.

Same here!  I've always loved the Rattler - I'm giddy thinking about when I can take a trip south to see if I can find a few pairs to bring back.   ;D

If you go south and find some, buy all you can find. I will take 2 (maybe 3  :shifty:)

Is it identical to the one I had as a kid back in the 80's?

My original rattler and X-30 are still in perfect condition so if I ever come across some I'll pick up a bunch for you guys.  The only thing I'm really interested in is the new Slipstream figure.

I'd love to get any of the new vehicles, I haven't seen any in Nova Scotia at all. And I would love to have a Rattler and an X-30, all we can do is cross our fingers and maybe Hasbro Canada will help us out.

They always seem to make little improvements over the old versions - gun-metal silver gun-barrels, more colours to the accessories, etc.

The ONE thing that made the 80s toys fun that seems to be missing is the "some assembly required".  I don't know for sure, but it doesn't look like they come with sticker sheets for the decals or 20 different parts you have to fit together.  They look like they're all pre-assembled and painted...  a class above, I guess.

Well, they're showing up on eBay, now...

So, they should be in stores any time, now - and on eBay for a while after that.  I'm planning an October trip south, so hopefully I'll luck out and come across some while I'm there.

That guy must work in a Target store, because these are not in store yet. Even my Target Online account still shows "Temporarily Unavailable"...

That's bad...  >:(

If they're in the Target store rooms, chances are they'll be on shelves next week or the week after.  Hopefully they re-stock by Thanksgiving, because that's when I'm going to the States for Christmas Shopping.  If I'm lucky, I might be coming home with a few gifts to myself

according to everyone hisstank.com these are impossible to find... I'm heading to Syracuse / Orlando this week, so I'm hoping I might be able to find one.. have my fingers crossed.

I'd expect them to be much easier to find, in a few months.  I'm seeing the first wave of exclusives on eBay for not too expensive...  by the same time next year, I'm sure that they'll be around enough for us to at least have one each.

Man, I hope these bad boys get to Zellers.  I want me a Rattler.
On a similar note, I hope the Ultimate Battle Pack makes it to Zellers.  (Please Zellers...  Please...! :'( )

Like a lot of Target exclusives I have a hard time finding these at Targets - the ones near the boarder are always picked clean and I really only get "into" the heartland of the states once or twice a year and even then it is hit and miss to find the cool exclusives.

I fear if zellers doesn't get these, I won't be getting them.  And these are two vehicles I would be buying another 2 of each!

I got my Rattler and conquest last night via a buddy in the States.

The decals/stickers on the Target exclusive Rattler and Conquest suck.  It's like they were printed on weak scotch tape.  I am not impressed with that.
