General Joe Talk / Comic 3 packs

The Clutch/Hawk/Stalker pack looks like a real winner. I'd like to see a green+yellow Steeler/Flash/Breaker pack next.

Right now Doug (bassist) and I play at an open mic at the local pub every Wednesday. I'm hoping to get some gigs, but right now we need more practice. :)

Yeah, the vocals will continue to be low in the mix until my singing improves. (it's coming along slowly but steadily) More songs will be up over the next couple weeks.

I listen to a lot of 54-40 and Matthew Good. One of the songs is a bit of a tribute to Queens of the Stone Age.

Do you play, Loop?

Let the plugging begin...

I've been working on some tunes and I put up a website. More stuff to come over the next couple weeks. Yes... this site is part of the reason why G.I. Joe Canada is dormant... and according to my web provider, its days are numbered.

General Joe Talk / how many of your childhood joes survived...
« on: April 16, 2004, 12:51:39 AM »
Sadly, most of my collection is from my teenage years and beyond. Most of my older toys have broken crotches etc etc etc

My stuff between 1990 and 1994 is in really good shape tho.

I'm a dual citizen, so I get to enjoy the best of both worlds. :)

Off Topic / Other Collectible Stuff?

I have a handful of Transformers, but what I spent most of my time and money on (yes, even more than Joe) is video games and music CD's. I'm always downloading new music off the internet, then tracking down the CD's at second-hand music stores. I have more GameCube games than I can play.

I also have a small collection of MOC Bret Hart action figures. (I'm up to three!)

Easier question...

What are people's thoughts on the new uniforms?

Off Topic / More Jays Talk - Carlos Delgado
« on: February 26, 2004, 05:23:16 PM »
Is it wise for JP to wait 'till the end of the season to re-sign Delgado?

1) He'll find out how good Hinske and Phelps are before committing to Carlos.
2) He'll get one more "contract year" out of Carlos.
3) He'll have more time to convince upper-management to raise the payroll if the team performs thisyear.

But...

1) Once Delgado comes to close to free agency, he'll probably want to try it
2) If the Jays don't play so well, Carlos is trade bait!!!
3) This might become a year-long distraction

Any thoughts?

The BATs are identical but different from the other BATs that were released last year.

I'll gladly take any BATs off anyone else's hands. :)

I bought mine last weekend. It is still in the box, though. I will open it when I run out of homework to do. ;)

General Joe Talk / Favourite Joe 'era'
« on: February 24, 2004, 12:33:20 AM »
I got into Joes in '87, so I'd say that's my year of choice. When I was young my favorite figures were Law & Order, Falcon and Psyche-Out. The Crazylegs thing only started about 6 years ago.
