                    Hey all,

I happened to by a TRU yesterday, and thought great I can go in an get some Joes.
Well, to my surprise, they don't carry Gi Joe any longer, but their own exclusive line
called True Heros. These sets are perfectly scaled to fit into the Gi Joe world (hint),
and the price points are unbelievably low for what you are getting. The sets and toys
are BIG, and in most cases include 2-3 action figures as well. I thing everyone should
at least take a look. They actually look pretty decent.

I hear you SilentDusky. Wolverine and the X-men was very good,
and splat. One season. I think it all had to do with the timing of
Disney buying up Marvel though. Hopefully, Avengers EMH will fair
much better. With the movies coming out, I'm sure we don't have
too much to worry about.

I HAD been going to Silver Snail for close to 30 years when something in the store not too long ago changed that forever.

One day I was in the store looking around like I always did, and having

a good time looking at all the cool toys etc. This particular day I couldn't

find what I was looking for, so I asked the store employee working in the

back area on the main floor for some assistance. His response.........

I don't know. That's it, period. So, I walked up to the front cash, and to my

immense astonishment, the "ALL MIGHTY STORE OWNER" himself was

behind the counter. I thought great, now I will surely get my answer.

Guess what?????? He looked at me, didn't answer, and then just turned

his back to me. I could not believe it. After coming to the store for SO LONG, and giving them so much business over the years, this is how I,

a customer of long standing was treated. You know what folks. This is

how everyone is now treated. The owner how zero interest in customer

service, and only wants your money. I have gone back in a couple of times just to observe, and I have seen this same type of treatment done

to many other customers as well.

On top of all this, if you are a toy collector, you DO NOT want to buy your

action figures etc from Silver Snail. Not only do they put their price sticker

right on the plastic view bubble, which screws up the potential value, never mind the overall view of the toy, but they also charge $5-10 more

for the same products that you can buy at Toys R Us, Wal-mart, Zellers and other comic book stores in the downtown area.

Do yourself a favour dear customer, and do your business somwhere

else where they actually give a damn about their customers, and not

just your money.

I can check my LCS.  Hiw much do you want to pay and do you want them complete?
Considering that I would have to pay for shipping, I wouldn't more than $10 each.

Thanks
