Sigma 6 Adventure Packs and Metal Mayhem at TRU
« on: July 15, 2007, 09:16:37 PM »

Saw these today. Recondo with Crocodile, Storm Shadow with a tiger. Also Snake Eyes with a big ass mech.

Snagged the Recondo. He's too cool

Why? Why do we get that stuff that I have no interest in (okay, I kind of dig Storm Shadow's tiger) but don't get the stuff I want, like the new Shockwave wave? Gah!

I saw Recondo and Storm Shadow at TRU Angrignon and was uber impressed. Tina bought me Recondo for my birthday. Busting him open, he really is unlike any Sigma Six figure I own. Not just out of a Sigma Suit, but armed and dressed very down to Earth. Making the tongue the trigger that closes the gator's mouth was pretty brilliant.

They were the only two sets on the shelf. I don't know if that means not many were stocked or if they've sold well, but I know there was room for at least Snake-Eyes. Something that surprised me was that there was no French anywhere on the package. I might have to go back and buy Storm Shadow before the store realizes and yanks them off the shelves.

The Adventure Team sets never restocked in Montreal. Are they still hanging around Ontario TRUs?
