I got my copy yesterday and finally I have a game that feels like it's showing the true potential of the 360. I have to say I love my 360. In the past I thought my PS2 was better than my Xbox (Gen 1). Of the newest wave of systems I have the Wii and 360 and I have to say hands down the 360 is the system for me. I'm not really interested in get a PS3 yet as the 360 has more and better games right now.
Anyhow, enough of a system review, the game Halo 3 itself from what I've played I love. If you have a 360 then you need to go buy Halo 3.
Funny thing, I remember the time hated 1st person shooters but it was Halo (the original) that started to change my mind about that.
