I've never seen bbts have sdcc cobra commander or pdd destro for half off.  Now, the roc destro set did at one time.  I just don't think the sarge is going to be clearanced anywhere.

Not likely...it seems the big H decided to cut production numbers on these this year after the "spectacular" sales of their last two SDCC exclusives.

So with a lower production run and fans from both joes and wrestling realms wanting this figure.....will be tough me thinks.

People are thinking that Hasbro wouldn't invest in a new figure mold to only never use it again....we'll see. They made a new mold for Destro the year earlier and that has not been used again.

Apparently he went on sale at hts for 20 minutes yesterday.  I missed it though.  Just the usa version.

Hasbro dropped the ball on this one.  Sgt. Slaughter has always been a popular character and the number one selling mail away figure from the original line.  Fans and collectors have been asking since the 25th line came out for Hasbro to do a 25th version of the Sarge.  Not everyone would rush out to get an overpriced Cobra Commander that doesn't even share the 25th body mold or the movie versions of Destro that they didn't ask for to begin with.
