I watched LOST (in English and French), and I understood nothing...  >:( even the last episod confused me more than anything.

I don't like these kind of shows where they change the story all the time to force you to keep watching if you want to try to understand at least something in the end. The longest show I've been able to watch was Seinfeld, followed by the Simpsons, simply because it was a show about nothing  :). Like Bandanov, I tried watching the first season of LOST....and tried to pick up later with no way of understanding what was going on. Even with the summaries at the beginning of each episode I was still lost...this was never a show for me unfortunately. I don't even want to try to understand it anymore.

I apparently only like shows that are funny and ones created by Joss Whedon (Dollhouse I miss you!) or have stars that used to be on one of his shows. Was Lost really poplular because it had a relatively new concept or something? (sorry to lazy to go actually look it up)

Ok then, I must be unique  :P

Yes it is different... you can tell when they must create a wiki just to explain what happened: http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

The basic is simple: A plane crashed on an island, there are few survivals... and some people were already on this island before. Then everything happen: Mythology, mystery, fantastic, questions, etc.

I never really got into it as it seemd I worked whenever it was on.  During season 5, I started to get interested in it and caught up on all past seasons thanks to the local library.  I fell in love with the show and watched the last season on CTV in the morning.

I miss the show. But the epilogue left me confused as to the final fate of Hurley........

And I wanted to run around that day screaming "Walt!  WALT!"
