Tamagotchi Connection

Hello gang,

I'm a newbie here so I already have questions....A friend of mine bought the new version of tamagotchi,  Tamagotchi connection, in the U.S recently.. It's way, way cool. Comes with an IR function that allows your digital pet to play games and communicate with other pets. Also, and this has to be a first for a toy, once you grow your digital pet the IR allows you to creatr 2nd and 3rd generation Tamagotchis. It's way out there. I haven't seen them up here yet, but i've seen posts on other sites that the toys r us at Sherway may have them in the next week or so. I remember the frenzy the last time around, so I'm eager to get my hands on them before the kiddies buy them all. Has anyone heard anything about this? if yes, lemme know.

Best to you all.

Magnolia,

I thought those things were an old fad, predating Pokemon?

I remember those. I had no idea they came back. Funny thing, I remember when my friends use to bring those things to school. The princaple banned them.

I have one question though, if your pet dies, do you have to buy a new one :?
