I have that figure. I've got a soft-spot for him as he was my first Arctic Ops guy. Hate the mail-away version though, since he's freakin' BLUE.

Great review there Joe Nerd...makes me want to get this figure now. It's on my list that's for sure.

As for the 1990 being a weak year I have to disagree. Or agree to disagree :)

There are some pretty awesome figures in that line. Even though the Dic Cartoon kind of made them all goofy...they are stand alone great characters.

Thanks for showing the snow cat in the back ground. I love my winter joes...the write up on his file card really cracks me up!

Cheers bro,

Crazylegs

Not to mention the loss of all his great original accessories, replaced by a black Dodger rifle and figure stand. Ouch!

Thanks, glad you liked!
I guess my statement about the 1990 assortment comes from the fact that much of my most disliked figures come from that year. Yeah, there are some real gems though. In the review I had even completely forgotten about Bullhorn, now THAT is a great figure!

i think there's at least two decent figures from any year from 1982-1994

1994's only decent figures were the 3 Lunartix aliens....Anyone dares to contradict me, just know that you are dealing with the best in this underappreciated era, 'This', I command  ;D

Agreed for sure! Man, even I will admit that 1990 had at least six great figures.
One more thing I had just though about as well are all the great, and I mean GREAT vehicles to come out of that year! Cobra Rage, Hammerhead, Mobile Battle Bunker, Retaliator, Hurricane V.T.O.L. not to mention the Sky Patrol vehicles. So, I guess for me 1990 is more of a "vehicles year" rather than figures.

Underappreciated is right! I would never dare to contradict that fact.
However, I might be so bold to say that even 1994 had more gems within it other than just those three.  ;)

1994, that's easy: Joe Colton and the Original Action Team.

leaving aside them; Stalker V5 and Shipwreck V2 are decent. Lifeline V4 isn't bad either...

I agree once again! I even like the Alley Viper Version 3, Ice Cream Soldier and the Viper V4. Even though they're a little wacky looking!
