So there was a thread going on over at the MC group about next years possible location for the convention and of course everyone suggested their own towns. Since we're mostly all Canadian here I asked Brian if it was possible to have next years con in Buffalo or Niagara Falls. His response was short and left me with a slight hope. All he said was "You just never know where we may pick...."

So maybe, with a little luck it'll be in a place like Niagara falls. For me, a 2 hour drive, others like Mike, less than an hour.

Then again I could be way off base and it could be in Texas for all I know. It just sounded positive for us Canucks and thought I'd pass along what I read this morning.

I highly doubt it would be in Niagara Falls.

I for one would love it, but I just can't see it.

New York city yes. Anywhere remotely close to Canada - no.

If they ever do this convention outside of the USA, Toronto would be the ideal location.  Tons of hotels and areas to do the convention (Mississauga, Etobicoke etc.).  Plenty to do in the GTA and the cheap Canadian dollar.

But it's my pipe dream.

Why not Niagara Falls? It's got to be one of the top tourist spots in North America. Look at honeymoons and all, plus Florida is south and the falls are north so I'm hoping that Brian will pick the opposite direction.

I know, I'm probably dreaming. We'll find out in just a couple of weeks.

My guess is Chicago. The Big Apple would be alright, too.

I'm hoping Toronto, although I highly doubt MC will have their convention anywhere in Canada.

Niagara Falls would be bad but the darkside of the falls plays second fidle to the Canadian side.  That side of Western NY is kind of a dump.

I agree. The 41st convention wouldn't seem special, yet I don't think a place like Buffalo/Niagara Falls deserves it, no offense to anyone who's from there.
