I now have 2 other Joe geeks on the hook to attend the Canada Joe meet, so we'll all be coming up the morning of the 14th.  Oh yesssss, I personally cannot WAIT to finally get to one of these things!

Along with the wrestling matches, and a few things I'm considering.... like Best impersonation of a Joe / Cobra character. Don't worry.... you'll win stuff if you make an ass of yourself. ;-)

I'm also considering a "Mini-Custom" contest for the meet.
People would be allowed to make ONE custom figure and bring it to the meet. It has to be one that no one has seen of yours before, and one that isn't posted online anywhere (yet). I'd have ballots set up at each one, so people could 'rate' it out of 10. Depending on how many people enter, we'd have a first, second, and third prize.

I like the sound of that!  I'm in.

I don't care what we do for dinner that day, it's all good IMO... no matter what type of food at the restaurant, I can find something on the menu to much on.  excpt sushi, now raw food eateries.   

Sooooo, since I don't [rightfully] deserve to have my own BI figure and since my concentration is on modern sculpts these days, you guys mind if I make a Black Ice update and rip him off for use in my Joe-verse?  I got inspired to make the figure yesterday, even have some of my recipe picked out. I'll bring it with me to the meet in April!  (and I promise that GTG will not borrowing it for any reason!  :wink:)

GTG isn't doing the figure and wasn't intending to, and Alyosha doesn't even get the appeal of it, so Black Ice is safe!   

I'm not even sure why that idiot posted it as a suggestion for Aly to cast in the first place... the only old sculpt stuff the man deals with is the P95 stuff and that's just lame IMO.  And yeah, reflective of GTG as a whole technically, Aly is still his own thing over there so if the dude wanted BI ripped off by GTG, he should have posted in the main board's suggestion thread.  But since nobody that would support that endeavor seems to GET IT and the mystique of all the great that IS Black Ice, I'm happy GTG ain't touchin' it now.
