Press Release

Well the 12" collectors are going to be pissed off. And I will be really pissed off if Hasbro got rid of the 3 3/4 line in favour of this.  Hopefully more details will be released.  But this smells like the Savage stuff all over again.

sure a new animated serie is cool but...8 inch figures??? real pants on Spirit... Man this is too much... the animated craze that took everything even got its claws on joe... Sure the new figs are nice but...its not the same.

Looks like the new manga comic will have some toy support...its going to need it...the Heman line went this way and is now the way of the dodo...these Joes will flop I bet...unless the cartoon is prime time and can be seen by every kid...! :|

So this the new direstion of GI JOE.  With a Name of Sigma 6, you can't tell me only 6 core figures will be made.

These guys aren't that bad.  Stylized to the max, yeah, but they LOOK cool.  And ya have to admire the amount of gear they come with even if it's kinda futuristic.  They're certainly eye-catching and I can dig the intention on Hasbro's part.  

But 8" figures at $15 each?   Um, no.  That's too much of both conditions IMO.

And I should add that if they do a S6 version of Zartan, I WILL buy him.  That would be sweet!   (I will not get my hopes up!)
