Scramble (Ryan), got his DVD and has sent me a copy of it (I assume he has by now  :shifty: ).
Once I get it, I'll convert it, split it into chapters, then upload it to Youtube.

It should only take a day once I get the DVD.

I don't have a DVD burner, so I only just got it copied Monday (as Mike will tell you, I don't live in this century), and yesterday I was sick. If all goes well, it's going out tonight.

Greg, I don't know you personally so I couldn't tell you how accurate it was, but I'd say your segment went pretty well. The only complaint I had was they didn't show a comparrison picture of the lady's son who you made a custom of.

Well, they screwed up on some things - one being that I used to be a roofer (I ran a customer service department for a roofing manufacturer).  I corrected this mistake before they even began filming, but they ran with the error anyway.  I didn't have my picture of what Erik looked like in Northern Iraq (lost it when I left that particular company) but his mother and I gave them pics of what he looked like in Bosnia and at home (guess they didn't show any pics).   I really don't do a lot of those kinds of figures (maybe two or three a year), so I thought it odd that they wanted to focus on that aspect of what I do.  Guess it was like you and the paintball.

Still waiting to get my copy from them as well.  Said they mailed it on the 9th...

Greg, I watched it twice.  Unless I was out of it, there was no mention that you were a former roofer.  They focused on your current career and you famiily.  I really enjoyed your part on the show.  Nice collection.  Although I don't collect 12" figures, I do appreciate looking at them as no 12" = no 3 3/4.  As for the custom of the soldier in Iraq, Fanatics did it seem that you did alot of these.

The best part (in terms of advice) was how you didn't force GI JOE onto your kids.  Got a kick out watch them having fun with the remote control tank.

I'm glad they didn't bring the roofer snafu on the show itself (still haven't seen it, btw).

I started collecting Joe back in the late 70's, starting with the last remnants of the Adventure Team, then got Super Joe, then they quit making them.  Was happy to see them making Joe in 1982, with Stalker and Snake Eyes being my first two purchases. Stuck with the RAH line until about '92, when I was in college, then quite due to the disenchantment with Hasbro making pink and purple weapons (the vehicles weren't really grabbing me either).  Most of the stuff on the show was from when I was a kid, with a few items acquired at shows and garage sales.  I only migrated to the 12" guys in mid-1990 for I have a weakness for WWII and Modern stuff...
