« on: July 24, 2007, 12:17:47 AM »

I might as well post up a list as I couldn't figure out what is out there.  Man, I am shocked to see a bunch of no name fillers here, especially when they had no involvement with the movie.  And Thundercracker?  Say WTF.

Bumblebee - 08 Camero
Barricade
Barricade - Recon
Bonecrusher

Dreadwing
Dropkick
Longarm
Payload
Protoform Optimus Prime
Protoform Starscream
Scorponok
Swindle
Wreckage

Deluxe-Target Exclusives aka we won't see them in Canada and for once this isn't a bad thing

Strongarm

Voyager
Autobot Rachet
Blackout
Ironhide
Megatron
Optimus Prime

Found a Leader Class Megatron today at a crappy Wal-Mart on the west side of Toronto on the way to a job site.  I won't do a full Trekker review of the figure.  It's just to butt ugly.

I am going wait for that Leader Class Brawl (aka Devastator) to get released as I can't stand that tiny Deluxe version.  It's a tank, not the GI JOE Armadillo.

I feel the same way. I *REALLY* want the leader class Prime, but just can't bring myself to part with the $60 they want for it...

A lot of the "filler" bots on that list are from the Video Game for the movie.

Argh.  Hasbro should of Kept that filler crap out.  Kids are not going to want those toys.  They will want Bumblebee, Prime and others that appeared in the movie.  Which explains why Wreckage is collecting dust in all the stores I saw on the weekend.  So good thing I am getting the robots that only appeared in the movie and Acree (she was suppose to be in the movie but Ironhide took her spot).

And I heard that video game blows.  To bad, I wanted to get it for my PC.  I guess I could download it instead.

I saw the Ultimate Bumblebee and Leader Class Brawl today at TRU.  Bumblebee was just over 100 bucks at TRU.   :o :o :o :o :o  I have never recalled a TF costly that much at retail.

And TRU has restocked on wave 1 figures from the movie.  I saw a couple of Barricades and even the Bumblebee 74 Camero today.  What is even the point of restocking this?  The hype is over and I highly doubt the release of the DVD will have a huge impact on kids.

I saw the Voyager Optimus Prime and Thundercracker today at a TRU.  29.99 is not bad if you still want to get a movie version of Prime.
