You are close Mike.  It's Bay and Dundas as I see the Toronto Eaton Centre in the background.

I agree.  This whole PS3 release this past week has been a joke.  The word "Losers" comes to mind.  And the guy who think he is a pimp in the video is in the same boat.

The system has obvious flaws, just like any other unit release during the first wave in the past.  Can't people just wait abit longer to get it.  I don't get the hype nor do I care.

If I were them, i would just keep the money instead of buying it and smashing it (or at least keep it and use it)

As long as people send them money, they'll keep on doing that sort of crap.

I checked the site to understand the point... they are simply a bunch of idiots!

Instead of giving those guys money so they could destroy a toy... why don't people give money to make sure every kids gets a toy for the holidays??

While we're on that topic...

I'm running a fundraiser in 2 weeks that supports the CHUM/City Christmas Wish. A chance to see a lot of bands in one day.

Here's the website:

www.myspace.com/rockathonTO (http://www.myspace.com/rockathonTO)

I'm also raffling off a GameCube package (inc. 2 controllers, memory card and 3 games!) You must be in attendance to win the Cube.

I think the appeal of the whole 'Smash my [Overpriced Overhyped "Get-A-Life-You-Virgin-Losers" Object]' thing is the fact that they're not smashing the object, but the hopes of the losers who would sell their souls to get their sweaty hands on the first bug-ridden generation of whatever the hell they're lining up for.  Is it stupid?  Yes.  Are those impatient people in line stupid?  Probably.

It's the clash of stupidity against stupidity.  It's easy to see why people dig this sort of thing.

Because the world as a whole is on a moral decline, and would prefer cheap thrills and laughs to the everlasting satisfaction of helping those in need?

You sure that's a decline? I'd call that status quo for at least thirty years now.
