umm...not much to say, haha. name's Karen (got it memo-shot-)
mostly collect star wars stuff, but i've been getting more and more into G.I joe stuff with the ROC/POC lines. can't really afford to collect too much, since i'm only graduating this year, but personally, i'm more of a customizer than a collector anyway. most of my customs focus around k7 own little G.I joe universe i've created, which i'll post later (or copy/paste from ffurg or snowtroopers :P )
TL;DR new girl on the forums who's into anime and making custom joe figures. :P

i demand photos to prove your femininity.
otherwise i shall operate on my usual assumption - any woman on line is actually a redneck trucker called Cletus or Jim-Bob!
lolzor!!
welcome.

Welcome to JoeCanuck!
Just a quick notice since you're new. .
PM's won't work for you until you've made 5 posts or so. It's to prevent spam - no other reason.

Just ask her to come to next years Canadian Joe Convention. I know girls are a rare breed in this hobby but the girl at my local Toys R Us is big time in Transformers and goes to all the TF Con shows and such. I call her "My favorite Transformers fan" when I get her to ring through my Joes. I told her she should join up over here and come to CJC next year, there are some girls in this hobby and not redneck trcukers called Cletus.
Welcome to the board Karen. If your into customs, check out this month's issue of Joe Canuck where we talk about painting eyes. It's free!

Welcome to the Board, I'm looking forward to see your Customs posted here.
-
haha, thanks guys :3
don't/can't really get to many conventions outside of the maritimes because of school and lack of a car+money, unfortunately :c

(If she wishes to post it on her own - without being asked or pressured to do so, then she's welcome to).

Welcome to the boards. You are definetely not the first and only woman I know who loves Gi joe. I recently encountered a woman at the last Mtl Comic-Con (someone I recognized from the past conventions). Scramble and I had to priviledge of finding out her codename is also Lady Jaye (a genuine fan of the Lady Jaye character as well). Curse my other preocupations, I forgot to tell her to join our boards, but I will next time I see her.

welcome

+1 for posting your pic! When you get a chance, let's see your customs!
-
Really?
You guys really made her post her pic?
*shakes head*.
CC972, if these guys give you any hassles, just contact a MOD or Admin.
I would of expected better from them.
Edit: Actually, I removed your image. (sorry). If you wish to repost it on your own, feel free. But you shouldn't have to "prove" who you are to these guys.
They didn't have to prove who they are to you!...
LOL

i was joking, but she was the one who decided to post it...

Based on your post, yes. She did.
It's not a rule of this site to post images of yourself.
If you want to start a thread with your image, asking others to join in and post their image, feel free. But please don't ask/demand someone else to post their image because they're new.

ehe, thanks mike ^^;
