I've made an updated POC Rampart.

head - POC Dusty - I know the tan doesn't match the legs, but if I ever get a hold of the Joe vs. Cobra Recondo head, I want to mod that into Rampart so his face isn't covered, so if anyone has an extra they can spare, please let me know.  Thanks!)
body - Arctic Snake Eyes
legs - Airborne
gun - vintage with Jungle Viper bipod attached (I didn't have the vintage legs so I modded the Jungle Viper bipod onto the gun)
peg on belt for gun - modded the peg on a Jungle Viper cannon barrel and drilled a hole in the belt and put it through.

I had an extra POC Dusty so I decided to play around with it to make a POC Ambush as I don't think Hasbro's ever gonna make one.

head - General Obi Wan from some Clone Wars line that I modded
bandolier - Duke (I know it's going the wrong way and only has one grenade, but I wasn't going for a 25th version of Ambush)
belt - Dusty's belt with the pads removed
backpack, helmet and tent poles - vintage (I know I'm missing some tent poles.  If someone has some extras that they don't need that they can trade me, as well as his vintage rifle, that would be awesome!)
rolled up tent cover - Dusty's cape

Ambush is awesome!  Rarely do I like a new mold more than the ARAH version, but yours is better!

That Ambush could also look just like he would've, had he appeared in Gi joe Resolute! Awesome work, I'm impressed when I see your customs together. I can see that you are very inspired when it comes to re-doing more obscure characters from ARAH, that's a very good thing, +1 Timbit for you  :timbits:

I was lucky enough to get an Alpine.  However, one of my complaints about it was the fact that his gauntlets get in his way for posing him holding a gun in a realistic way.  So, I originally put Beachhead lower arms and removed the gauntlets and put it on using the clear elastics.  It wasn't very easy to pose though and I finally came up with the solution.

I cut up the 25th Alpine lower arms and hollowed it out so it would be a sleeve that can go over the Beachhead arms.

Here's a picture of the sleeve.

The hands are from the green alien from Star Wars that was in the Stormtrooper uniform.  His hands were bigger so it makes it look like he has thicker gloves.

The gauntlets just fit over the sleeves now just like it originally did, but they can now rotate around his arm to be in different positions.

A while ago, I had a friend make a Jinx for me.  The head he used on it was the red Cobra Diver head.  I wanted to make her unmasked so I modded a VvV Jinx head to fit onto the custom he made for me.  Here are the results.

I realized after taking the pictures that the neck looks a little long so I'll have to fix that up.

So, I love the Resolute Scarlett sculpt, but I really don't like her head sculpt so I changed it.  I also didn't like how here waist was so plain so I added a holster.

Parts:
head and crossbow and holster: desert ambush Scarlett
hair and the rest is Resolute Scarlett.

Jango Fett
« Reply #59 on: February 21, 2011, 04:11:13 PM »

Not Joe, but thought I'd post it anyways.

I really love the Evolutions Jango Fett, but there were a couple of things I didn't like about it which I was hoping the new version would fix.  One being the holsters not having the thigh straps and the other was having the backpack with the projectile.
Well, Hasbro fixed one thing but not the other, so I've finally given up and just modified mine.

Backpack is from the Kamino escape Jango Fett.  The holster and helmet are from the apartment Jango.
