What the heck, Drop Zone is a Strato Viper?
« on: November 11, 2005, 10:44:50 PM »

I thought all the Sky Patrol guys were new sculpts...but I just noticed Drop Zone is a Strato Viper body? Do any of the others use old molds?

By the way I am looking for Sky Patrol Airborne and Altitude with helms or more...anyone?

All the Sky Patrol figures are old vehicle drivers with new heads.
Static Line uses Backstop's body.

Altitude is Slip-Stream. Airborne is Lift-Ticket. Air-Wave is Motor-Viper. Skydive is Gyro-Viper.

Sky Patrol is an example of how lazy frankenstein figures with new heads and creative paintjobs can make great new figures. Just as long as it's not overdone.

Yes, again I never knew until I really looked at the one...the heads on these guys would look good on any body!!!!

Are there any other guys from the 82 to 94 line like this?
