Customs / Re: ARAH Custom Kits: POW/Prisoner , Blue Beret Commando
« on: December 28, 2012, 01:03:25 PM »
The Convict Jumpsuit is not a bad idea, but I don't do dio that much. Also, I'm not sure how I would remove the lower arms from a fig to put it on another one  :-\

As for the Blue Beret Commando... Wow!! I wil buy some for sure. I want some of these... in "DEF Shockwave" Blue, but also in "Cobra soldier" Blue, and in Black (to match the Crimson Shadow guard). Your BB Commando looks a little bit like this one from OCS:

But I wouldn't care getting both!  ;D

Thanks...I'll do a little video on assembling the Jumpsuit Kit...Lower arms are pretty easy to harvest...especially if you're not concerned about the upper arm from the donar.

There should be some similarities in the commando...LIVEVIL who sculpted mine was the one to suggest it on the Slayer OCS/Project ARAH boards.

Customs / ARAH Custom Kits: POW/Prisoner , Blue Beret Commando
« on: December 26, 2012, 05:08:21 PM »
Here are two Custom Kits I'm working on...and have brought them to a point where I need feedback.

I'm not looking to take pre-orders, but would like to get a solid estimate for how many I should produce.   I need to know If I should Plan on making a Gang molds or not.

The 1st Kit I'm working on is a set of parts to put any figure in a Convict Jumpsuit.

The Kit will be unassembled, and will still have some flash that will need to be trimmed.   You will provide your own Head, Lower Arms, and Hardware (screws, T-hook, O-ring)...Cast shoulder rivets are provided.

The Kit will be cast in a Shade of Orange...as Close as I'm able to get to a Hasbro Orange.

I expect cost per "POW Kit" will be $25.

The Second Kit is a Collaboration with LIVEVIL... We're Calling it the Blue Beret Commando.

The Kit will be unassembled and will have some flash that will need to be trimmed.   The kit contains a Head, Toros (front and back) and Crotch, all sculpted/modified by LIVEVIL.

This Kit will be cast in a Shade of Blue...I will try to match color to the DEF Shockwave figure, as best I can.

Other color options, and casting the head in Flesh are both options if I move forward with Gang molding.

I expect cost per "Blue Beret Commando Kit" will be $15.

Any thoughts or Feedback are welcome, (Molds have been made so there's little chance of changes at this point)...Ideas for next time never hurt though.

Also if you'd be interested please either post here, or send me a PM.

Thanks

Brian.

Anyone got a pic or link to these stands for the jetpacks? Maybe they're like the ones for the new Starduster or whatever, but I haven't seen those either.

They're cast from a Boba Fett accessory...but they fit perfectly on Jump jet packs (Both Vintage and Modern)

Yearly CanJoeCon Discussion / Re: What I will be looking for at CJC 2012
« on: August 01, 2012, 03:08:15 PM »
I'm looking for CG v1 backpacks, and 3-7 Stinger hubcaps.

Stinger or Stunn?  cuz stinger hub caps are usually glued to the tire.

Customs / Re: How to remove paint on old customs?
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:57:20 PM »
For cheap paints like Apple Barrel, etc.   Soaking the part in Pinesol loostens up a majority of the part...but it can also fade the plastic colors a bit.

Debating If I should Bring a Flagg to sell... It's not 100%, but pretty nice.

Let the guessing begin!

I'm kinda expecting the Ashiko Cycle to be used somewhere.

No wonder these vehicles are so hard to come by state-side... all of the Canadian supply was picked up for these sets.

Edit; just caught the name.. I love it...HATE Scout.

Items Wanted / Larger Parts and things for CanJoeCon
« on: June 06, 2011, 04:20:09 PM »
I know a few people requested I bring a few specific larger parts with me to the Show this year...  I've forgotten who and what as multiple people asked me.
'
Feel free to request Vehicle parts that would generally be considered Shells, as they're usually too big to travel to shows with me.

Timbit - Jason Mewes

Ppfftt!  HA!  LOL!

If we use Jay, then we have to get a part for Kevin Smith, What role could Silent Bob do?

I think Kevin Smith would play a great  "The Mike TM, as represented by Friar Tuck"

Raptor really wanted that Unicron!  The deal is done!  I can't wait to see what he does with it!

Probably covers it with Xevoz parts.

I'll cover your back.  Even if the boxes are empty.  All I want is the 12" Dial Tone mock up!

That's actually the 2up, or Paint Master, for Dial Tone... it has nothing to do with a 12" DialTone... It's definatley one of the 3 nicest(most valuable) things in that case.
