Hm, that's a bit out of my reach. Wonder if any CTs that are more local might have toy leftovers too....

Jay, why don't you simply take up bandonov's offer?
Let him buy it, Martin pays him back, then you settle up with Martin when he gets back from the Con.

It's SO simple.

The Mike, Bravo. Jay, the way I see it now, if you're not going to come to Joe Canuck Convention, at least you can benefit of it  this way, and get it over with your search.

Why don't I do that now?
Well... because it's boring. If I just take up Martin and bandonov's offers now, it just becomes a dull waiting game.
But right now, I still have areas to check for him, the hunt is still on. The hunt is fun and somewhat exciting. The hunt can also be beneficial (while I did not find Nero today, I did manage to find Mask Of The Phantasm and Sub-Zero on DVD as well as an Animated Bumper Battlers Optimus Prime for my girlfriend), not to mention it gives me more reasons to go out and walk, giving me extra exercise.

Odds are if I don't find it by Thursday, I'll take bandonov and Martin's offer.

Sorry Martin... I can't afford the hotel stay and con prices right now... nor do I have the time to go out for a whole weekend.

Would've loved to attend, but as always real life gets in the way. :(

Then you've messed up your chance to take them up on it. Bandanov is on vacation - he stated a few posts above that he would pick it up for you and hand it off to Martin - but you HAD to let him know by Friday.

Personally, who gives a crap if it's "boring". I've been waiting for 4 months to pick up something from the con from someone because I didn't want to pay the shipping on it.

Jeez man.... you had a PERFECT chance to get the figure that you've been bitching about not finding in your area for a month now. I just don't get it.

The Mike makes a valid point: I think the people that replied to your thread didn't really care first about the fact you mainly wanted to enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Now that I think of it, maybe you shouldn't have started this thread in the first place because If we tell you where the figure is, it should take away a good part of that thrill... no? It would for me.

"Finding Nero"  :shifty: ....

Wouldn't it be more challenging if we all just raced against you to empty the Neros in Videotrons to make the hunt more thrilling? It would be like the amazing race. Since Star Trek figures are not marked up that high, it should make for a somewhat affordable race.

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

Dunno. I just gave him a Timbit instead. ;)

In any case, a friend found me Nero in RDP, so I'll be able to pick it up shortly... so the hunt's over. Fun while it lasted.
Now I gotta wait for POC and TF: Generations to start popping up.
