Well, holy carp, there were Joes as far as the eye could see...
OB

Any vintage stuff?

Yes, once again, I must give credit to MIA collectibles for saving the reputation of good ol' ARAH gi joes. I even bought a convention exclusive Natalie Pool and a Funskool Budo from him which were fantastic finds.

OB, glad you had a good time. I also had some good fun teamin up with Dodge822 and will definitely repeat the experience. Now for me to get back to reality and check on him to make sure he made it safely back home.

General Hawk: Technically, G.I. Joe does not exist, but if it did, it\'d be comprised of the top men and women from the top military units in the world, the alpha dog\'s. When all else fails, we don\'t.

Good to see you're alive man!  ;D . I still wish we would've had more time for you to see more of the City... but I'm glad that you decided to give it a try and that you liked it.

Huh, drat. Looks like I gave my wants list to the wrong people.

The person who went there with my list said he saw little that wasn't new stuff. (granted, my wants list didn't have any Joes on them, just a Transformer from 2002 and a few DC toys from 1989/1990)

Maybe the people you give your wants list kept all the good findings to themselves  ::)

Why would they keep Tidal Wave or ToyBiz's Superman, Batman and Green Lantern to themselves?

Can't answer for TF, but Toybiz's early toys still retain popularity with some collectors. You're making it sound as if collectors don't want them at all. My friend who collects vintage to newer stuff had some at the show, along with Kenner's super powers.

Okay, but the person who I gave my wants list to wasn't interested in those toys for themselves.

I total forget about those. I think I have a set of those somewhere in my attic somewhere. Are they about 8 - 10 inches tall?
