I should also mention, to anyone attending: bring cash!  Most vendors only take cash at the con, but there are ATMs nearby.

I don't know that many conventions where vendors will take debit anyway...so it's safe to say to always bring cash to these kind of events, so that you may have an early and trouble-free start. There are always ATM's near a big convention, It is one of the usual site requirements of a convention/exhibition centre. Otherwise, the convention is in serious trouble and I don't think a successful organization would want this.

Hey, I know that, I was just putting it out there...  Some vendors do have credit card machines, I've noticed.  But yeah, it's mainly cash.

And knowing...
...is half the hassle.  The other half is parking.  Luckily, Place Bonaventure is easily accessible by public transit!

Yeah, so true!  ;D  BTW I just meant to add to what you said, and to state the obvious when it comes down to any convention, not trying to correct you or say you didn't know what you were advancing. You're actually a regular attendee, so I would never doubt that you know a big lot.

Aw, shucks.  Thanks, man!  I wasn't trying to be confrontational or defensive; I was just trying to point something out to help others in case it's their first visit or something, know what I mean?

Cash? In this age of iPhones and Paypal, you can buy stuff off a vendor with nothing but a phone!
