Wow. I missed out on the last two weeks of this.
From an Artic HISS to a GI Goat (pronounced as a soft g).
....No wait, it's a Cobra goat.  That's cool, then I can army build it, especially since there's a hundred now.

Anyway, thanks in advance for the initial plans and then the scramble to revise them.

Can't wait.  And the clues are fun - it's like an advent calendar.  But less chocolate.

Could it be a Sigma 6 Joecanuck or the last piece to the M.A.S.S. Device?

I don't think Hasbro would make just 100 parts for that. Moreover, not only for Canada. I'm thinking more about a repaint. Something that will exist in the US, or has existed. But we would get a different color. That would justify a small production of 100.

If Hasbro wants to make friend here, they should bring some 25th DOC...  :shifty:

Just so we're all clear. I've confirmed that there is more than one item again this year.
So these clues aren't all for just one item, but pertaining to each of them in some fashion.

There is more than one Exclusive.
At least one will be a Cobra.
All exclusives will be limited to 100 of each.
Hasbro Canada played a BIG hand in our exclusive this year.
It is not Arctic themed.

Now come the cool hints:

Originally, it was 1983, with many more later.

And a bonus one - "I haven't been seen in over 20 years".

Now keep in mind, there are more than 1 exclusive this year. So it's possible those hints are all for one - or for each.

When you asked for the 1983 Cobra soldier fullcard, I knew it was not just for the fun of it  ;D

I'm assuming you include the 25th line... so there are not that much figs left:
  • Viper Pilot (?)
  • [s:1fxuyd6w]Rip Cord[/s:1fxuyd6w] (I think Hasbro will wait after the movie to avoid 2 Rip Cord at the same time)
  • Footloose
  • Tollbooth
  • Zandar
  • The Fridge (speaking of BIG hands...)

For the US convention, a lot of people are talking about the Red Shadows... so I guess any UK or international variant can also be included  ???

So, my guess will be:
  • Cobra: Viper Pilot (ref: 1983, Cobra)
  • GI Joe: The Fridge (ref: BIG hands, GI Joe)

Am I near?

Near..... FAR.... so very very far. LOL No. You are not close on either of the two.
FYI - the 25th line has missed MUCH more than the few you mentioned.

What's with the big hands??....  I never said anything about hands being larger than normal. That's all in your head.

Ok... Here's some solid hints for you all.
Something to keep you guessing, all for the same character:

  • I haven't been seen in over 20 years.
  • I'm not part of the 25th line of figures.
  • I'm not in the movie.
  • I'm an actual Hasbro G.I. Joe Character (not made up like Black Ice, Snowbank, etc).

That's it for now. Enjoy your weekend guessing.

I know, but some like Dr. Mindbender or Sgt. Slaughter were release many times in the last 20 yeras. That is why I didn't list them.

So, for Cobra, I will guess with a character we never saw before... Pythona (Since we already got Nemesis Enforcer!

For GI Joe, hum, I would say St. Slaughter (but we got many versions of him in the past 20 years...).

Follow the clue. It's a character that has been made before, but not seen in the last 20 years.

Neither Pythona or Slaughter fit that bill. ....nor does Big Lob.  ;D

Oh, and I'm not going to tell you if you guess right. But when he's announced (It's a he), you'll get bragging rights if you guess correctly. ;-)
