Just wondered what everyone's opinion of the 30th anniversary Vamp is, now that we know it has returned to its more traditional green color and has a really sweet driver, that blows the POC clutch out of the water.

The "Serpentor in "YOUR" Universe Diorama Contest will kick off on August 1st and run through September 30th. The theme of this contest is Serpentor in your own personal universe. The object is to make a diorama that shows Serpentor doing something in your own personal universe. Some examples would be, The creation of Serpentor, The Death of Serpentor, Serpentor leading the troops, Serpentor in battle. It is also acceptable If in your universe serpentors creation or death was the same as in the G.I.Joe Comics or Cartoon. With that being said, here are the rules of the contest!


The rules of the contest!!!

1. You must submit your diorama by posting it in this thread by midnight eastern time on the final day of the contest which is September 30th
2. Your Diorama must match the idea and theme of the contest.
3. You must have already made, or make 10 posts on the SerpentorsLair forum by the deadline for the end of the contest which is September 30th. What we are saying here is you must have a post count minimum of 10 posts by the deadline for submission.
4. The judges for the contest will be the SerpentorsLair staff, we will be judging based on, originality, quality and difficulty of the set up, quality of the pictures, and relativity to the contest theme.

Off Topic / NBA Playoffs

Do any of you fella's north of the border enjoy following the NBA playoffs, and if so, what do you guys think of the Miami Heat, and how those three guys chose to come together to win titles. Did it bother you or are you cool with three superstars joining forces on their own to try and win now instead of waiting for it.

I want to extend a personal invitation to all of the fabulous customizers here at JoeCanuck, to come and participate in our Hall of Fame Customs contest over at http://serpentorslair.info/. We are a brand new G.I.Joe forum, and we are going to be running a monthly custom contest starting this month. Here is what you have to do to be entered to be a finalist and win prizes. All you have to do is register and post the custom or "custom's" that you would like to have considered in the contest. We will be giving out a first and second place prize each month. The winners will be determined by vote of the members of our site. This contest is sponsored by Kokomo Toys and SlayerDesignStudio, they will be providing the winners with prizes.

I hope many of you will enter and share you great work with us

I just wanted to take the time to say high from http://serpentorslair.info/, a totally new G.I.Joe forum! I know I have met some of you guys in the chatroom here and on our site, but I just wanted to stop in and say we really appreciate the Canadian Joe collector community, and we would love to promote JoeCanuck.com on our board so that our members can get to know your members and vise versa! If it is cool with "the MIKE" we would love post a banner and link to JoeCanuck on our site, and promote you! We also will be promoting your fabulous newsletter and the yearly Canada Joecon.
