NBA Playoffs
« on: May 28, 2011, 03:18:21 PM »

Do any of you fella's north of the border enjoy following the NBA playoffs, and if so, what do you guys think of the Miami Heat, and how those three guys chose to come together to win titles. Did it bother you or are you cool with three superstars joining forces on their own to try and win now instead of waiting for it.

Buying a Championship is why we have the salary cap! The best of luck to Miami.

I eat, breathe and sleep basketball. I used to hate Kobe and the Lakers, but now it's Miami. Bosh is a diva, Lebron is a pompous you-know-what.
As for the playoffs, I love Chicago - hard working guys like Noah and Deng especially. Boozer is their weak link, ironically due to his salary. Terrible offense and he got exposed defensively on almost every possession. With them out, I'd love Dirk, Marion, Kidd and the Jet to win, but it's gonna be Miami.
Can't wait for the new salary cap arbitration to even the playing field a little. Hopefully one of Miami's big 2 1/2 will get hurt or something to dodge the championship wrecking train that is the Heat...

I love bball, both playing and watching it.  I hate Miami, mainly b/c they act like bitches, if they actually had class Id like them more but I pretty much loath them.

Amen to that!  Despite my location, I'm more of a Rockets fan than a Spurs or Mavs fan (we refer to the Mavs as the "bastard children of TX NBA" because they're the only Texas team without a title yet).  I'm not a Spurs fan at ALL, but I'd even pull for them over the Heat.  I can't STAND LeBron now, and I'd love to see them NEVER win a title.

there is no love for the dallas mavs in our house either, and as much as i am not a fan of the events of last summer that involved lebron and d-wade, i would like to see if lebron can lead a team to a title, it would at least make all of the hype surrounding him legit.

Go Dallas!!!!
The highlight of my basketball viewership - except for maybe Paul pierce's Celtics over the Lakers...
Dirk really shed his "soft in the playoffs" reputation - as unfair as it was to begin with. JT was on fire - tighten up that D Lebron!
Made my month!

if it doesn't have my Celtics, I don't bother watching. Having said that, my brother-in-law was over and wanted to watch the last game. He is not a Mavs fan.
