I got an email a couple of days ago from the Hamilton Spectator. They're looking to interview a couple of people about the new movie and G.I. Joe - see the email below.
I?m a reporter with the Hamilton Spectator. I?m working on an advance for the upcoming G.I. Joe movie, and I?m looking for a local angle.
Hoping you can point me in the right direction to find someone who could talk about the convention, the phenomenon, and the anticipation for the movie. Hopefully there are one
or two fans from the Hamilton-Burlington area who would be able to speak to me? I can do this over the phone or whatever is most convenient. We would also like to take a photo.
Please let me know if you have someone who might fit the bill?
If anyone is interested, please shoot me a PM / email with your email addy, name, city you live in, and phone number and I'll pass it on to them.

If he's willing to extend his definition of 'local', I'm game.

LOCAL.
Being a place that gets the Hamilton Spectator paper.

So, we have NO ONE interested in this!?????
-
I'm interested. I live in Brantford but thats pretty close to Hamilton. The only thing is I wont be able to tell them I work for the movie theater cause the company might not like that. Plus...I'm afraid to say I think the movie might suck.
-
How many board members do we have from Hamilton?
You know I'm from K-Town, thus I haven't spoken up.
-
From Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Burlington areas - many. They don't speak up much however. ;-)
Maybe a mass mailing might be in order.

I just got the note, I might be interested if my costumes/website would fit the bill. However I am cautious at best about this movie to the point that if it is as embarrassing as I fear it is I will likely take down my site.

LOL
I've never heard the movie called embarassing, but I'm afraid, that might be exactly right.
