G.I. Joe Vintage Review - Cobra Adder
« on: October 12, 2012, 11:02:41 PM »

Hi guys,
Here's a new review of a fairly obscure Joe item: The Cobra Adder.
Just keep in mind that I shoot these reviews for all toy collectors, some could be new to the Joe line.  ;)

Nice review. And, you know what? I fully trust you about how tight these missiles are  ;D

Awesome review and great obscure vehicle!  The traditional Cobra dark blue is also something the line was starting to phase out in favor of brighter colors.

Thanks, that part was a bit embarrassing.  :)
I don't know if you can tell, but I actually ended up removing the other missile as the first one I tried felt like it was NOT going come off no matter what I did!

Thanks!
That's a very interesting and very true point made about the color.

This is one of the best dollar/dolar vehicle that was put out at the time for many reasons:

Doesn't take too much shelf space;
Very compact driver compartment;
Cool working hydrolic arm for the missile ramp;
Impressive missiles;
nice set of wheels

Also, this vehicle looks completely out of scale and very low next to a Cobra Stun, but then again some vehicles didn't always have accurate proprotions. The Cobra Adder is one of those too in my opinion, but maybe that works rather to its advantage because it makes it a small gem in anyone's collection IMHO.
