Title: IM GETTING A JOE ROOM! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!

I just took over the basement of my house and am getting a room for all my joes.
I will finally get to set up my flagg!
May 1st im in there...the tenants were bums so ive got alot of cleaning, painting, carpet cleaning, and trying to get the hobo smell out of there...stay tuned for more details.

everything will be displayed! no more being buried in bins.
so exited...its like xmas! ( my wife is more exited to get all the joes out of our bedroom)

I remember when I had a dedicated Joe room. I would just sit in it some days and look around and do nothing. Then I had a child and that was the end of it. I have the rec room and workout room with Joes but neither room is a dedicated Joe room.

Good for you! Take your time and enjoy setting it up.

And im putting a big ass lock on it to keep my kids out.
and a lock on the inside to keep my family out when im in there!

Congratulations on the room. I am going to be doing the same thing in my new house once i get the basement finished but most of my joe stuff will be convention items and my Gundam kits.

thats awesome man!....locks on both sides of the doors!....I wish I had enough to fill a room, but I'm getting there. Would love to have my own room then!

It has begun... the Hobos have moved out and left behind the foul odor of stinky feet and welfare.
the cleaning process has started, and the painting commences in the a.m.
My joe room is about 11 x 10. So a good size to squeeze everything into.
The kids room had a "booger wall" on the go. That was fun. Ketchup and footprints on the ceiling, and an inch of grease all over the kitchen from the deep fryer. Thank god they are gone. no more smells of deep fried french fries at 10 pm. no more shirtless kids playing in traffic, no more yelling screaming and swearing untill midnight.
Ahhhhhh peace and quiet.

almost set up.
did the flagg today...
never realized how much stuff i have. a 10 x 12 room is full, and i could use more space.
will be selling alot of my doubles, to make room.

Awesome news, man.  My wife fully supports giving me the basement of our house (when we get one...) but has always actively refused to let action figures into the bedroom.

I use to have a rule about no toys in the living room (my own room) but then I had a son and that rule went out the window. That and some of these days I need a new carpet. Kids are messy.  ;)

Congrats on getting a dedicated Joe room!  I remember how exciting it was when I took over our guest room a couple years ago but then I was agonizing over what to display and how to cram everything in as my room is quite small.  Enjoy the process, I'm sure your Flagg looks amazing as the centrepiece!
