GI Joe gets Heroes look.

Looks like the SDCC exclusive is the launch of GI Joe's version of the Galactic Heroes.  The Joe version is called Combat Heroes.

I have to admit they are kind of weird, however it is great News that Hasbro is trying to appeal to all levels of the market with the Joe brand.  The more fans the more product we will get.

I like it! Good introduction to the toy for kids. I'd let my nephews play with those. I just get to nervous when they touch my other joes as I'm afraid they'll break/lose them.

I agree, these will be great for kids provided they are to be sold at retail at a cheap price.

Cynical prediction: Heros line will replace all future 3 3/4" waves in Canadian retail space.

I would aggree with that. Since the 25th is geared for collectors and I assume the movie lines will be geared towards getting new younger age fans, both of those lines are a time limited. Not sure how much longer the 25th line will continue for, but the movie line will only probably be in stores, like all movie merchandise, a year at most/or its relevant (as in did the movie bomb) Really young kids toys can last a long time because they really don't have anything to tie them to a certain time frame or storyline.
Wow I don't think this made any sense.
