Hi, my name is Shawn. I'm an avid GI Joe fan and I'm from Toronto.

It's great to see that there's a Canadian joes community :) . I wished I found this place earlier as it is a great resource for Canadian joe collectors.

During my younger years I've had several GI Joes, but not as much as I wished. About 5-6 years ago I started a serious collection and managed to obtain most of the figures I wanted as a kid. During the fall of 2001, other responsibilities and a serious illness took precedence over my collecting activities. From thereon, I had very little time to dedicate to hobbies. Well after a 6 year hiatus here I am again :) .

At the moment, I'm currently trying to sell my joe collection (and hopefully get some fair prices :lol:

Anyways, I hope my time here will be enjoyable.

Welcome aboard Brahmabull. Not only is the Canadian GI Joe community a great bunch of people and some of the closest friends I have on the internet, but there's a huge chunk of the members here are Toronto or Hamilton residents.

So how did you come across the board?

As of me posting, 15 people have looked at your post - and Scrams was one of them.

So don't be like the other 14 people that didn't bother to post a hello to you! ;-)

Join in, start up a topic, talk. etc.

How did you find the site? ...and are you planning on attending the next Canadian Joe Meet? It's in April 2007 you know. ;-)

Thanks for the welcome guys. I stumbled upon the Bounty Hunters Toys site  and saw JoeCanuck listed under the links section.

I'll think about coming to the next joe meet if I have no prior commitments in April.

I heard there's a joe convention this month in Burlington. Although it's a bit too far away for me, especially since I don't have a car.

It seems like this is a tightly knit community. I think I'm going to like this place :D .

Welcome to our little part of the web. You'll find everyone is pretty laid back here and we don't nit pick. If you really want to get in good with Mike (BHT) just make sure you tell him your a huge Bill Goldberg fan.  :shifty:

It's NOT a convention. Please don't think it is as the postings for that show are extremely misleading.
