Some of my collection
« on: July 19, 2012, 09:04:50 AM »

Just a few pictures of my rec room.

MOC figures, convention figures, signed figures and the original poster that came with  mail away magazine from the 80's. I had the poster mounted on a board with white trim.

Last year and this years GIJCC sets:

Bootlegs:

Bootlegs and some GIJCC stuff:

I got a lot more. I just took a few pics. Really I was just talking with a fellow Joe Canuck member about MOC figures and said I have the white Jinx on my display wall. I thought I'd show it. I can take more pictures at another time if anyone wants to see the rest of the room.

SNAKES:

Wall mounted glass shelves from Ikea. I actually ripped down all the 70's paneling  in this room and put up sheet rock just so I could counter sink these. The only protrude about 2 inches from the wall.

Cobra side:

Sorry about the focus on this one.

Joe side:

Awesome to see all those convention pieces in one collection!
What is the carded figure hanging beside the Vacation In The Shadows box set?

That's a custom that was from a fellow named Phil at Joe Customs. For a few years he was doing an unofficial Joe Customs convention figure for those who went to the GIJCC conventions. I got this from the GIJCC 2011 convention. I was there in person so I hand no issues getting mine.

The body is a Crimson Guard (maybe shadow guard) and the arms and legs are from a BAT (v2). The head was cast as was the helmet. It's a neat custom and one I'm happy to own.

One of the coolest things about him is the plastic shell. It opens up along the outside edges so you have 100% access to the toy inside. It's the only shell I've seen like that.

Midland Valleys Scotland?!

Did he just throw together three words and hope it sounded British?

60 inch TV for gaming on. I threw up CoD just because I didn't want to be seen in the reflection. The sunlight room the window threw off the picture so it looks dingy downstairs. It's really not dim like that:

Chrome Xbox  ;):

Chrome PS3  ;):

My newest guitar is absent from this picture as it's getting done, but this is how the most recent convention sets look:

A feeling for the room:

Cobra figures around the top of the room. I built those mini shelves myself. :

Rec room computer desk. I'm thinking I might want to get rid of the PC downstairs and replace it with a set of digital drums at some point. I have laptops and a PC upstairs and I've got a desire to take up the drums some day:
