TRU U.S. BBQ and Firefly
« on: July 19, 2009, 09:50:29 PM »

I picked up the Toys'R'Us exclusive Barbeque and Firefly at a TRU in Newport News today for $5 each.  BBQ looks to be a straight repaint.  Firefly looks good - removable goggles and harness with all sorts of goodies for the modern day saboteur.

A friend brought me Firefly and its a great figure. I'm tempted to switch the goggles for the red ones that came with the comic pack, but besides that its awesome.

Say what now?

What's this about TRU exclusive figures?

Are they ROC figures?

Is it just those two?

Anyone have any pics?

Are they coming to Canada?

That is a sweet Firefly, even if just using the figure for parts. I like the post under the picures about using the body with resolute Duke's head to make Black-out.

I take one of those Firefly figures if you don't mind. I don't need the package, just the figure, gear and file card.

Let me know if I'm not too late.

Thanks.

Morgardee - you're the first to respond.  Are you from Kitchener?  I work in Tavistock if you want to meet up.

I was at the TRU here in Corpus today and they probably had 20 BBQs and 20 Fireflys each.  I almost bought Firefly, but then I found Elite-Viper and Gen. Hawk.

So at least these guys probably won't be rare.

But yeah, FF looked pretty cool.

That Firefly figure is awesome. It might be the best Firefly figure ever (IMO).

Yes it is.  And now we know two more TRU exclusives are coming.

I guess Elite Viper and and General Hawk are already out in the US as well?
