I really really REALLY want a couple steel crushers, but I'm not paying the $35 TRU wants for them.  >:(

I'm willing to bet that come September Walmart will have these all 50% off, so I'm holding out for now.

Walmart near my work had a display out. Picked up the Steel Crusher APV ($28 vs TRU $35) and a few figures @ $9.44:

Baroness (Pit Attack)
Storm Shadow
Scarlett (Covert - Camouflage)
Viper Commando (Desert Ambush)
Shipwreck

BTW, the new Vipers look like junk IMO. Haven't seen the Ice Viper so he might be cool, but the ones I've seen just suck.

I picked up the Viper Commando (Desert Ambush) just to check them out.

You know what - it's a really cool, menacing figure. I was pleasantly surprised.

TRU London has a display out but none of the rarer figures are left. No Helix, Crimson Vipers, Elite Vipers or Ice Vipers. Very expensive vehicles but no Pit. :(

I quite like Neo Viper and Viper Commando. Not enough to army build them at full price, but they're cool.

The two Wal-marts in the city of London had no Joe displays, though the multiple Transformers movie islands seem to have gone down to just one, so maybe they are making space?

I don't think that TRU has received Collection 1 Wave 2 yet.  Someone had found them at Wal~Mart but a lot of Wal~Marts seem to be sticking to the original street date.  Hopefully that wave will be easier to find in a week or so.

I think you're right about that. The second asst looks much better, I am getting anxious.

The other day at Wal-mart I found the Ice Viper/CC wave but that seems to be a much smaller case asst than the big ones we should be seeing at TRU. Going by the cases Small Joes has up, that's my guess anyway.

Something's gotta give, the prices on display in my TRU is just shameful. I paid the 10 bucks a pop for the guys I wanted but I had to leave everything else, there just is not a sense of value at all, not at those prices.

They are now in full force at my local Wal-mart.  A whole display area dedicated to them, just outside of the toy section area.

I think the Ice Viper looks great.  Big and bulky like you should expect with all of that winter gear on.

But I do agree the Neo Viper I have is weak - not digging the design.

I can't help but look at these neo vipers and think how would I use them for the 25th line and to me I think I'd use them as frag vipers. Anybody else look at Firefly with the gunship and think Mamba pilot?
