Tank Girl and Scramble away for a while
« on: October 12, 2006, 11:01:17 AM »

Just giving everyone a head's up: We're off to Las Vegas and the driving to Los Angeles starting this Saturday the 14th and won't be back until Monday the 23rd. I don't know what internet access will be like but I doubt I'll be logging on. I don't even plan on bringing my computer this year.

Las Vegas is for fun and to see a tourist city, Los Angeles is for the Screenwriting Expo, the same one I attended last year. Looking forward to my vacation, have fun without me and wish us luck.

Well good luck.

But umm... we always have fun without you Ryan. :shifty:

Seriously, enjoy it. Apparently there's a Star Wars slot machine in Vegas... see if you can find it. ;-)

Nope. There is nothing Lucas won't do (warning, slow load time):

This is his own entry in the Steve Colbert green screen challenge. He even showed up on the set with it.

We're back. Vegas was a great city but requires a lot of walking. Every Casino may be right next to each other, but when they're a few blocks wide each and only have one entrance, you've walked a mile before you've reached a third casino.

Great city, though, with no shortage of thigns to do. We didn't even get to gambling until late into our second day there. Highlights include seeing a medival recreation and dinner, the Star Trek experience, and the luxor Egyptian casino.

There were a bunch of the Star Wars slot machine, but the best looking one was in the Hilton Las Vegas, just outside the Star Trek experience. It has a dark side version and a good side. Naturally I played good and Tina was evil. We both lost, though.

You can tell who handles a camera better.
