Because I have restored a HELL of a lot of vehicles and have used both types extensively, I think I can comment on this best.

J Ruben's stickers are NOT precut.  However, the stock they are made out of cuts very easily with a simple pair of scissors.  I prefer this, because you can trim the stickers very close, so you don't have a great big fat clear, shiny section on the plastic around the sticker.  It's easy to twist the sheet in your hand and gently slice around everything...even circles like the US Air Force logos on the wings of Joe jets.

The sticker material itself is thinner than Cobrastickers' but has superior stickiness.  The superior stickiness is both good and bad, as tweezers and PATIENCE are required.  If you don't line up the stickers JUST right before pressing them down, they're pretty much gonna be toast if you pull them back up.  However, just as an example, on a lengthy sticker you can set it gently on the surface in the middle and it will stick.  Adjust it to line it up, THEN press it down.  And once they're on there, you don't have to worry about J Ruben's stickers peeling up around the edges.

Probably my favorite thing about J Ruben stickers is that his white stickers are really, really bright white, which makes them look fantastic.  One of my favorite examples is how the bright white contrasts against the dark olive drab of the Dragonfly's body.  Just look here:

I'm not knocking Cobrastickers here at all.  Those are very nice, heavy, easy to use stickers and the fact that they're precut is very nice.  J Ruben's stickers' biggest advantages are their price and the sheer amount of sets available.  If you don't have the patience to spend an hour cutting out and trimming down stickers, or to carefully line them up right the first time, then they're probably not for you.  But if you at least have a modicum of patience, give them a try.  I promise the results won't disappoint!

If you are going to keep shilling for J Ruben then post some comparison pics.  I like the price and selection, but the cut them yourselves is a big turn off (guess I don't have a modicum of patience).

So if you say the difference in colour is that great then let's see since that could make sway me towards buying.

Go here:http://www.joecanuck.com/joe/board/index.php?topic=4500.0. The Vamp MkII has J Ruben stickers, and the Tiger Sting has Cobrastickers.  Compare the white on the "GI Joe" logos.

And I'm not really "shilling" for J Ruben.  I don't get anything out of this, I'm just letting everyone know about an OlYeller approved product.

And I will reiterate that if you don't have patience, JRuben stickers probably aren't for you.  Figure on spending at least an hour doing a smaller vehicle, and 3-4 hours for something like the Terrordrome.

I see a big difference on the logos... WOW!  But I have no patience so CS is for me.

Ruben's stickers are awesome.  I mean, better than factory.

Cobrastickers are very, very good.  Pre-cut and great customer service.

We are all lucky to actually have two great resources for stickers right now, and at low prices.

Does everyone remember 5 years ago?  I have hidden many a picture I took on my Advantix camera of vehicles I put stickers on I attempted to make myself.

Anyone of the dealers do BATS chest stickers?
There's a seller on eBay for $8 + 1 shipping for 6 chest stickers. That may be the cheapest, best option...
