Hey guys just a heads-up for anyone near or going to the area - Stouville Wal*Mart Supercentre is getting in another case of wave 9 soon.

I can't tell you when exactly but, while checking last week I got one of the staff to check the computer for future stock and it showed that they did order a case.  He said it would come within the week (this week now).

Now I was checking religiously every day - up to yesterday even, and nothing - but I know they are coming.  I got my wave 9 in from eBay and some more coming from online retailers so I'm hanging up the car keys so to speak.  Rather save gas than keep going there to check.

You might get lucky!

Even Stouffville is out of my way, even though I head up to Markham on Friday and Saturday for other reasons.

Its the second week of August...anyone see any signs of the international carded wave 9 figures yet?

I couldn't do the waiting game so I got my quota of wave 9 already, but just curious to see if distribution has improved for us or not.

Already started showing up late last week:

I would expect we'll see them more wide spread by the end of this week.

nice Pete!

I also went to my local Wal*Mart after work yesterday and they were in the middle of their toy aisle reset - it looked like a bomb went off.

So i saw Bryan...yes I've visited this Wal*Mart so much in the last month that I know one of the CSRs by name now.  He said he didn't see any G.I. Joe product yet.  It just looked like the staff are shifting around the current stock, didn't see any place for Joes :(

I might be tempted to hop over at lunch time today to see if the reset is complete and what's new...but it's not like I need anything now, although Storm.Shadow did say the DVD box sets are showing up too - so I may be tempted to build this MASS Device afterall.

These have not shown up in stores yet (at least not to my knowledge).  I just said that they will be available in Canada at some point as Hasbro Canada is carrying them.

DVD packs will be in Canada in mid to late September.

my bad on the mis-quote - by the way Stealth with the tidbits you leave it sounds like you've got some insider connections at Hasbro Canada?  I'm thinking of a career move pretty soon.

I work hard at the relationship that Joecanuck has with Hasbro Canada, yes... so maybe not so much "insider" as "working relationship"

I wonder if Hasbro/Retailers realize that they're completely missing the boat by bringing these things to market almost 2 months after the US release.  With impatient consumers and the ease of internet shopping the market (at least for a collector driven line such as this) has been mostly satisfied by the time stores put them out.

Edit: Sorry for stating the obvious.  It's just frustrating.
