Simple put, I'm offering $75 through Paypal for a complete (uncut file card and flag points) box for the Vamp MkII. I need the Canadian release version showing French on the box. I DO NOT need the jeep or blueprints, I only want the box.

PM me if you have one available and can show photos.

Thank you.

General Joe Talk / COLLECTABLE SPECTACLE II -

Collectable Spectacle – “Airedevon” Documentary Series

Some of you might be familiar with my first entry in this series, Collectable Spectacle, which focused on toy/comic collector and author Mark Bellomo. It was an 18 episode series, which I filmed and released for free on YouTube for collectors to enjoy. A year and a half later I decided I was interested in filming a second chapter to the series, this time focusing on collector Airedevon.

A special thank you to Airedevon for opening up her home and allowing me to film her collection. Both Mark and Airedevon LOVE toys and they LOVE the joy those toys bring to children and adults alike. They both put themselves on film to SHARE their experience and knowledge with others who feel their passion. They both have spent decades of time, money, blood, sweat, and tears to achieve their collections, and now they are inviting strangers into their world to experience it.

These episodes combine for roughly 4 hours in length. I could have trimmed it down in time but I thought people would like to see as much as I could offer. Since they are presented in separate episodes, people can take their time and go through them at their leisure.

Episode 1 – Airedevon unpacks one of her closets filled with vintage 12” G.I.JOE figures and sets them up in the kitchen to talk about them.

Episodes 2-3 – Airedevon gives an example of how to repair 12” G.I.JOE figures and talks more about her 12” figure collection.

Episode 4 – Airedevon continues her talk of 12” figures and then discusses her printed media collection of 3 ¾” figure material.

Episode 5 – Airedevon finishes up her printed media collection and shows some of her audio/video collection pertaining to G.I.JOE. Airedevon also discusses the books she has been working on. In the last part of the episode, Airedevon puts together a rare Nilco (Egypt) Vamp vehicle.

Episode 6 – Airedevon sets up and displays her vintage 3 ¾”, domestic G.I.JOE vehicles and discusses them.

Episodes 7-9 – Airedevon hosts a local G.I.JOE collectors club mini-meet and takes some of her guests on a quick tour through her house.

Episode 10 – Having emptied another closet, Airedevon explores a vast array of storage bins to show samples of toy lines from the past 30 years.

Episodes 11-12 – Continuing through bins removed from the closet, Airedevon goes through storage boxes containing MOC G.I.JOE figures from North America and around the world.

Episodes 13-14 – Airedevon shows some of the contents of her display bins
in the "Toybrary" that contain loose G.I.JOE figures from North America and
around the world.

Episodes 15-17 – Airedevon continues through her “Toybrary” and discusses an endless assortment of action figure toy lines, other than G.I.JOE, from the years 1975-2000. She also discusses some international G.I.JOE vehicles and her Gobots collection.

Episode 18 – Airedevon pulls out some items from another closet and shows some rare international G.I.JOE vehicles and provides some closing thoughts on the struggles of collecting and working on her book project.

It all starts here with Episode 1;

( *Collectible is commonly spelled with an “ i “ but is also considered properly spelled with an “ a “.  I chose the “ a “ version for aesthetic reasons in the title. Just thought I’d clarify that.)

I hope you enjoy…

Items Wanted / $100 for a Canadian Cobra M.S.V. steering wheel
« on: December 12, 2010, 10:12:22 PM »
Hello,

I have just discovered that my MSV steering wheel is not authentic, it is from a Tiger Sting.
I'll pay $100 through Paypal for a real, original MSV steering wheel. Has to be black, have a hollow
stem, and have the letter "A" stamped on the backside.

PM if you have an incomplete MSV to part out.
Thank you.
