Gijoes in Montreal?
« on: April 09, 2008, 10:01:11 AM »

hey guys,

Is any of the 25th stuff available anywhere in montreal (aside from Legends)?

I haven't had the chance to scour the ToysRus, Walmarts, or Zellers in the area....lousy university exams....so I was hoping you boys could let me know if we even have em here.

Thanks

Kevin

I saw two Hawk/Scarlett comic-packs hanging in the West Island TRU about a month ago. Given that there was no trace of the rest of the wave, I doubt they're still there.

I'm not actively looking for the 25th since i don't collect them. However, I usually take a trip to Wal-Mart (decarie or laval) and stop by the toy section just to see what's new, but haven't even seen any 25th ever.

Legends has got some of the 25th stuff, if you don't mind the mark up.

Try this: http://store.toysonfire.com/hagjoesisixt.html

Address: http://www.toysonfire.com/toonfisthoan.html

But prices are still a little bit expensive (like Legends...)

We also got few things at TRU, see this post: http://www.joecanuck.com/joe/board/index.php?topic=2352.0

Martin, does the Montreal store has figures in stock?
I might be tempted to go there to buy a few extra figures.

Some items are in pre-order, but others not (like Snow serpent, Hawk, Barbeque, etc.).

It looks like the have Hiss driver in stock for $12.95.

I never went there. Let me know!

There's a new store called Toy Wars that just opened since October 1st. Check out the post I placed about it. While Legends has many widely accessible 25th figures in Montreal for 12$ and up, this store has less common to find figures in Montreal like Lady Jaye, Snow Job, Spirit and the first Storm Shadow ( the 1984 version, yesssss! ) for about 13-15$, I find prices for those to be more attractive especially for those who are trying to catch up with the first waves that they missed, and especially when the best price you can get for them on ebay starts at an average of 13-15$ + shipping...
