It's not the first ever Montreal Joe Meet btw, there were at least one two real ones before this. This one was more like a rehearsal. Scramble, Jay, Madman, Redmao and a few others can probably tell you how the past Montreal Joe Meets were like, actually I believe there are pics of the last one here on Joecanuck.com.

Sorry LJ, I was missinformed about the Montreal Meet.  I've only been on this forum for only 7 months.  I should read the archived posts when I get a chance.  So did we learn alot from this mini-meet?

Hey, and knowing is half the...darn there I go again! I've been saying this almost 3 times today at Toy Wars I am starting to annoy myself.

The mini-meet was fun indeed. I did get to meet with fellows Oreobuilder and Jay which was great. We also had the honor to enjoy the company of Protoman (not from Joecanuck) who is probably best known as one of Canada's leading Transformers collectors. And earlier today, I had a chance to speak with a very nice guy named Dave who's not on the boards yet but I have the feeling will be joining us soon. If you're reading this Dave, Joecanuck wants you! 'Til all are one!

EDIT: Actually I don't think he can access this Quebec section if he's not a member already....  :-[

It was fine until that Jay guy showed up and started ruining everyone's fun.

Man, that guy is such a wad.

Bah! That Oreobuilder fella was a pain in the ass too!

Seriously though, it was great to finally put some faces to some screen names. As a relative noob (as far as knowing everyone in person), I had agreat time. It was a fun, casual setting to meet people for the first time (especially as I'm someone who tends to be shy in large groups and that needs some time to warm up to people). Everyone was easy going and very welcoming. I'm looking forward to the next time we can get together. Thanks to LJ for suggesting it and thanks to Steve for putting up with us for 3 hours.

Was it really his original intent? He failed miserably at it anyway

Now if we talk about Oreobuilder for a minute, Jay, that my friend is a good example of pain in the ass. He reminds me of Van Diesel, and I bet he could literally kick me in the butt If I said the wrong thing. Good thing I measured my choice of words correctly in his presence and even behind his back, the LJ would not have lived long to see Latina Jaye in Renegades.

Indeed Steve was a true gentleman to let us overtake his store for that long. He made an exception on that day because it was the anniversary of his store, so now that were back to a regular day, his do not loiter rule is back. The one thing that won't change is his coolness, the man's a Joe fan afterall.

I was so busy talking to everyone that I completely forgot to take group pictures of us, and I think everybody else forgot to as well, but there's always the next time!
