Specialty Stores in Southern Ontario
« on: April 21, 2008, 04:16:29 PM »

Does anyone know of any good toy stores that sell the 25th Anniversary GI Joes figures.  I am from the Brantford area and was wondering if there was anything close to there (Hamilton, Burlington etc.)

Thanks,
Scott

You could always try Toys R US or Walmart :shifty:

Seriously. 25th has shown up sporadically at those stores. Check the ontario forum here:

for sightings. I personally am not aware of any comic stores in the Hamilton area that stock 25th. Maybe Toys Toys Toys in Limeridge mall, although they'd likely be very highly priced.

I tried the TRU in Oakville and Hamilton to no avail.  Also tried a bunch of Walmarts in the area as well.  The best I could find was a Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes Two pack at Zellers in Waterdown (but I have those ones).  Figured Id see if there were any specialty shops around town (and I tried Toys Toys Toys, but it figures that the first time I actually am interested in stuff there is when they close down).

Hey Scott, just curious - did you attend the Canadian Joe Meet on Saturday? There was plenty of 25th there - some were a little higher than Walmart/TRU prices - but with the gas you're spending looking for them - it might of been worth it!

More of a drive, but Heroes in London has a pretty good selection.

Sadly I found out about it yesterday (I have just recently gotten back into buying figures) and missed it.
