This has been the best convention that I have ever gone to, and this includes the ones in the States.

I got to meet some new people in person but also missed alot of others due to the time I got there and amount of activity going.  It was great to shoot the shit with alot of people about the hobby.

And incase your wondering, look what is next to Prime

I had a great time too.  Got to see some friends from last year, met a few new people who were awesome, found a bunch of great deals and trades, and had a great conversation with Hama about the 'Nam comic.

Thanks to everyone who put in the time and effort to organize it!

Like everyone else said it was a great meet for sure, and a big thank you to the Joecanuck staff for organizing it.  I admit that I was more after 25A stuff which was a little scarce in comparison to the vintage figs, but if you were after vintage figs then that was the place to be.

Definitely looking forward to next year's event.  What do people think about name cards with your name and forum nickname on them?  I knew some people there but not necessarily by their real names.

Barely got a glimpse of Pete - he was holding a Cobra vehicle like it was his first born on his way out :)

That was the HammerHead - which deserves that kind of attention! The best playset Hasbro ever put out IMHO!

Each year the Joecanuck meets just keep getting better.  Thanks to EVERYONE on the Joecanuck team who helped put on the event--all the dealers and everyone who attended this year.  The custom figs were great.  The exclusive figs were awsome (timbit was a work of art).  AND the guest celebs. were top notch.  It will be a hard meet to top.  But knowing Mike, he already has something in the works.

Wave 9 25th rocks!!!!!!

Thanks again,
Realboss

Thank you all for such an awesome time man i look forward to that day every year

My godson had a blast and as you could all see, man he got spoiled and we both thank everyone that gave my such great deals and who contributed to the freebie table.

My only regret is that I wasnt' able to hangout and chill with anyone asmuch as i did last year and i still owe xhairs a beer for helping me with my copperhead customs (which i forgot to bring, because i was so excited just to get to the meet)

I can't wait till next year and running into & chatting with you all again

sorrry all, i just noticed this shoulda been put in the thoughts & suggestion thread,,,,oops. To excited still :D

it was definitely a good time and while it was bigger than last year, it wasn't huge and nothing going on ever felt rushed.  good turnout and it was AWESOME to get a chance to speak with Mr Hama, the Hasbro rep, AND Mr Bellamo.

Yes, to echo everyone?s sentiments, an awesome time had by myself and friends. It was great meeting fellow collectors also. First time attending, but definitely will be returning to future events!

Me and my 4 year old son had a great time yesterday!  Thanks Mike and everyone that was involved in putting this event together.  It was great to see some of the unreleased figures, Larry Hama and of course...all the JOES!  The highlight for me was completing my 25th anniversary collection, for my son, it was meeting Snake Eyes and getting a Darth Vader figure!  Honourable mention to the free table and the PS2 wrestling!

I would have loved to have been able to stay longer.  Next year I will for sure.  One quick question:  What did Hasbro Canada have to say regarding answering the questions?  Has someone posted these yet?

Thanks again,
Kevin
