Hey Deadshot I hope you're really happy withthe stuff I gave you in trades. I'm looking now at the figures I got from you and I surely can say it was worth the sacrifice. Bringing back what I brought back from the Meet would not have been possible if you and Condor would not have been there to help me get rid of my no longer necessary extra luggage. Thanks a lot man, you're definetely staying in my book of trading!

Dealt again with condor at the Meet of 2008 and It was still the same extra fun and pleasure just to re-listen in my head to what this guy had to say about the ugly looking inhumanoid monster that I gave him in trade. Thanks man, trading with you is always a highlight.

Grunt 4 mvp, you're a genius at trading man, I'm just glad I had that Gijoe army wristchain in the end to trade with you....it had a 80's Grunt artwork all over the card, and I knew how much it was meant more for you than for me!

Just in case someone still reads this thread, I will be bringing old school stuff for trade.

And some Star Wars Vintage figures too, hoping to trade some for a General Calrissian from POTF.

Thanks!

Introductions / Re: A quick intro and explanation

shdwknt,

I think I can speak for some of us that you realized your mistake, you offered your apologies, and that shows that you're humble in more than one way. That's a good thing. Someone who would've done such a thing ( sell without beeing a dealer ) intentionaly to hurt dealers' business would not feel remorse or wouldn't see anything wrong in what they are doing. From my side, you were already forgiven as soon as you apologized. Take it easy and See you at the Meet  :)

Off Topic / CASTLEVANIA movie INCOMING!!! SOON, I HOPE
« on: April 13, 2008, 12:58:06 AM »
Is there anyone like me that loves CASTLEVANIA and is kind of dying to see the movie get produced? I feel alone... ;D.

Oh well, the Belmonts were kind of cursed to lead a lonely fight against Dracula in most of the games after all...

For Sale or Trade / Re: Target exclusive vehicles for the show

I also have to agree now with Stealth Viper and Mike. I think there would've been insignificant importance if you were selling a random item of your own collection to a particular member that you actually agreed to sell through the forum, but in this case, your sales are on a larger scale pattern and dealers will be most certainly be carrying these items also in numbers and they are relying on the Meet to make good sales ( plus the fact that they are paying fees already for their tables just to earn that right and any profits they make help to cover those fees). Plus there is also the fact that the more people spend outside of the Meet, the less they will have to spend at the dealer's tables.

In light of this, I wish to give up the one case you put aside for me and will take my chances by acquiring it at the Joe Meet. Thanks anyway shdwknt but now that I realize that the others do have a point, not only I`d like to forget about the case but I recommend that you forget about bringing them to the show unless you probably trade them for something you wish to have or unless you're willing to answer to dealers who might get upset by the fact that you would be selling outside the Meet. However will the dealers have a problem with trading too if it stops them from cashing in on the sales of Target Exclusives as well? I really don't know how far we can go but the folks at Joecanuck probably will have an answer soon...

Thanks anyway, I don't doubt that you probably meant well, but it is true that this whole business, sould it take place, would be unfair and contrary to the purpose of this event.
