Well, for anyone interested, my name is Jeff.

As a child, I loved the GI Joe cartoon and toys. Played with everything, average kid of the 80's.

I lived in Hamilton mostly my entire life but I've moved out to Brantford with my girlfriend so shes closer to work. The fact is, we have an awesome 2 bdrm, but the 2nd room was doing nothing anyways, so she told me I could do what I wanted.

I have long been a fan of action figures. I was seriously collecting Valor vs Venom some time ago, and an ex got me to get rid of them. Big mistake. I moved on to Marvel Legends but it wasn't the same. They were too bulky and statuesque and sometimes, very hard to come by.

Another girl I was seeing got me an armadillo/serpentor 2 pack a few years ago at a Wal-Mart on a whim and I erupted back into Joes. I bought both of the non music box five packs and I was back in business.

Currently, I'm collecting 25th Anniv. figs and some vintage vehicles to round out the forces on both sides.  I've also gotten into the POC line and some random items from the ROC line. I mean, even I couldn't turn down a ten dollar Night Raven, even if it's just holding a place until I get a real one.

The plan is to get a large table, to my schmatics, then use styrofoam to form the ground/base. I'm also hoping to include and incorporate a mountain range, a forest, a swamp,  and hopefully by the end, some LED lights to accent the entire thing.

Planes will be hung from the ceiling. I recently came into possession of an original HQ and Battle Platform I'm hoping will eat up a chunk of the areas I'm using.

So there's some background.

Wanna help? Let me know...

are you on about a table-top diorama display?

I absolutley am. If what I have planned works out, it will be incredible.

Re up, man, if you're interested. When it gets done, I'm going to do photos and possibly video with it... Skys the limit

I have a rough drawn blueprint of how I want the tabletop to look form a birdseye or map standpoint.

I'm currently in the measuring stages and shopping around for the wood/table that can be cut to my specs.

Once that is in place, I plan on doing mountains with a mixture of real rocks and foam board constructions I have read about online, as well as a few other plans.

What I'm doing here, if offering any other fans that might be interested in helping out, either with ideas, materials, expertise, etc.

I don't know what I'm doing but I do have a vision, and a bunch of Joes to go along with it.

If anyone is interested in coming by and seeing what I'm talking about, I live in Brantford and I'm always around. Talk to me... I would love to meet the local communitty of Joe fans.

Plans are currently in motion for the second room of my apartment to become a total GI Joe Experience.

I have recently come into possession of what will be the begining of something incredible and I want to share it with fellow GI Joe fans here in Canada.

If you live in Hamilton, Brantford, or the surrounding areas, have expertise on LED lighting, dioramas, displays, or even want to toss in some ideas, this is going to be a great chance for some fans to get together on some fun stuff...

Let me know if you can help or what any part in this.

It's about community!
