Thor movie
« on: December 21, 2010, 01:25:42 PM »

When I first heard there was going to be a Thor movie before they made the Avengers film, I was very skeptical on how it would be treated compared to Iron Man.  But once I saw the trailer for the movie, I'm pretty excited about this one and can't wait until May.

It looks good but 3D?  Does everything need to be 3D?  There are more Tube TVs then 3D TVs in the world.

I have to admit I like what I see so far. Thor has always been one of my favourites. I thought I read somewhere that Anthony Hopkins was ripping the acting of the dude playing Thor though.

The premise does look promising.  I look forward to Cap as well - we'll see how the Human Torch does as Cap.

Actually, this one doesn't look so good to me. The only saving grace to Ironman 2 was the lead acting. If this guy isn't a good actor, it could be a painful flick.
The Avengers has crazy blockbuster written all over it though. Just saw the clip announcing the cast. Wow.

I agree.  I have no interest in 3-D.  I watched Avatar in 3-D and that was enough.  I didn't like the feeling of being dizzy after that experience.  High def is good enough for me.
