i have two questions: 1. do they fit in ARAH era vehicles - specifically can they sit in the front seat of a Dragonfly? 2. is the rifle compatible with ARAH figures?

quoted for answers, please.

I do not own the Dragonfly so cannot test it.  At some point during production the figures gained a few millimeters in height so she is pretty tall.  The rifle is just a throw away add on done at the factory.  It's under scaled and not very good.

Most of the Kickstarter figures have been shipped out to people.  Shipping has taken longer for me to do than I thought it would.

The next figure will be 100% compatible with Joes, will have back and feet holes, and will have a proper waist piece.  These issues are all being rectified with the in progress prototype for figure 2.  For weapons, the weapon didn't add anything to cost.  It was just a throw in.  I have a line of weapons out right now just as Marauder does.  I'm planning on releasing Shooter's rifle in my next wave.  I have a 3D model for it so it will be much higher quality than the hand sculpted one with Shooter.

There have been a lot of questions so hopefully this post will answer them all.

Accessories
Each figure will come with two heads.  One with helmet and one without.  They will each come with a rifle as well.

Compatibility
These figures won't be straight compatible with o-ring Joes.  There will need to be some modifying to add parts to these figures or use these figure's parts on Joes.  It should be close though so the modifications should only need to be minor.

Waist Piece
Nobody dislikes the waist piece more than I do.  Chalk it up to growing pains.  I'm making no promises, but if this figure and my next plan figure are well enough supported I will look into making a replacement waist in the future.

Construction
These figures will not have holes in the feet for stands and the hole in the back will more than likely not be the right size for Joe backpacks.  The figures do have swivel wrists though.

Order Information
As soon as I have these figures in hand I will be shipping them out to those who contributed to the Kickstarter project.  If you did not contribute or if you did and would like extras I will have a booth at Joecon where they will be available at $10 each.  After Joecon I will be adding the figures to my online store and on to eBay.

i noticed on the Yo Joe thread, you mentioned that there were other figures you wanted to produce, any chance of knowing who or is that unwraps?

That's under wraps for the time being.

Yes, they will need to be swapped out, but the figure is a simple back screw design.

This isn't really an update.  The manufacturer sent me some pictures of hand painted samples of each figure.  They are completely hand painted.  They are testing out colors for the painted parts.  The final production parts will of course be molded in the base colors and the painted parts will be applied with paint masks.  The colors are not final and some of them will be corrected like Trooper's shirt color.  I thought I would share the first examples of the figures colored.

I will have Shooter, Joe Trooper, Amber, Scarlett and Quarrel... Woohoo!

Now, my only hope is... quality!!!

Quality should be on par with newer figures released by the Black Major, if you've ever handled them or know of people who have.

First off, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or Happy *insert your beliefs here*!

A big thanks to all those who contributed to make these repaints happen.  And thank you to those who wanted to contribute but could not for various reasons.  This has been a huge boost to the project overall.  When building all new tooling for a figure it is vital to get the most use out of that tooling.  Because I can now produce additional repaints there is a much greater chance of the project making it's money back which means more new figures in the future.  And that is my goal, to continue to provide new O-ring figures to fill all the empty holes Hasbro had left in people's collections when they stopped producing O-rings.  By helping this project you have in term helped yourselves and helped the community as a whole.

All contributors should have received a survey from Kickstarter.  I guess you cannot choose multiple choices in the survey so please note which figures and how many in the multiples section.

For those who were late or unable to contribute.  And those who may want more than what you "preordered".  All 8 of these figures will be available in ample supply once production has completed.

News on the production front.  Full mass production is set to begin this week.  Below are test shots of the finalized tooling.  We were unable to fix the waist (I hope to do so at a later time and provide them for free to those who purchased), however the swivel arms have been completed and the figure has swivel wrists as well.  There still has been some question, yes the figures will be fully painted in factory.

The repaint project is 2/3 funded with 24 hours to go.  I've added Shooter as one of the contribution rewards.  So if you would like to "preorder" Shooter, Amber, or Joe Trooper you can do so with a $10 contribution to the Kickstarter.  Also, there is no limit on how many figures or how many of each figure you can choose as rewards.

btw, what accessories are the figures going to have? if any.
The figure will come with a rifle, but it is just a throw away pack-in.

i would like one of the Shooter figures and one of the Amber. Are they still $10 too?

Yes, those figures will be $10 each once they are released.

Since the tooling is now being corrected...

I've put up a Kickstarter for 5 repaints of Shooter.  This does not include Shooter itself or the Joe Trooper and Amber repaints.  If you are interested in those three figure you will have to wait until their release to buy them.

Each $10 contribution will get you one of the 5 figures pictured in the project.  You can choose which figures you want, there is no limit to any one figure.  Production of Shooter is beginning very shortly.  So this project is only 2 weeks long, as I have to make a decision on whether to do these figure before production ends.
